Leibniz’thoughts on calculus is the basics of his monadism, which contains his thoughts of mathematical philosophy. The development of calculus had shown the developing connotation of basic mathematical definition such as variable, infinite small,continuation,infinite.etc.And the relationship of them were explained in an explicit and a formulation way. These are the basics to fully know leibniz’ thoughts on calculus and his philosophy of mathematics.Leibniz’ monadism system had its social purpose, and relative mathematical basics. The law of continuity based on the definitions of infinite small and continuity contains a rich and profound dialectics. In addition, leibniz’s views of time and space were concerned with his monadism and thoughts of calculus. To leibniz, time and space are only the structure order of the existence and motion of things, which is dependent and finite.Space is continuous but not homogeneous, refecting the law of continuity.Time is directive and infinite, containing the thoughts of infinity and development.
