Remote sensing technology has been developed over the years in the field of oil and gas detection,as an economic,safe,non-invasive high-efficiency advantages of technology, its potential importance to all walks of life have been.Remote sensing technology "to find oil" as a traditional feature, geochemical and seismic exploration of oil and gas technology has shown some advantages, its low cost, high efficiency and a wide range of remote sensing characteristics. Therefore, hydrocarbon micro-seepage theory, the use of remote sensing technology to extract, analyze and interpret the oil and gas hydrocarbon anomalies alteration information, combined with the existing structure, seismic and inversion of surface temperature and other information, the reliability of the results of comparing the extracted. This study area is located north of the Central African Republic Salamat recessed basin, which by strike-slip boundary normal fault controlled Cenozoic rift basin, its internal structure units are from east to west, parallel to the spread, with three structural units are northern Depression, central uplift belt and southern Depression.Geochemical data from seismic, the basin traps implement reliable, superior seal condition, the possibility of accumulation of very large, with great exploration potential oil and gas resources. In the full collection, study and understanding information relevant research area of hydrocarbon micro-seepage and Migration caused the formation of surface mineral alteration anomaly that hydrocarbon micro-seepage theory.Which includes micro-seepage of surface soil and rock alteration anomaly, surface soil adsorption hydrocarbon chemistry abnormalities, heat disorders.Based on existing research geological oil and gas background information,we identified several aspects of remote sensing feature flag to take advantage of remote sensing technology to obtain conventional hydrocarbon micro-seepage anomalies map. This paper mainly ASTER multispectral data mainly to the northeast of the Central African Republic Salamat basin as the study area,to obtain better image covering the study area for image data preprocessing, principal component analysis, oil and gas are extracted band ratio related clay, carbonate and iron ions alteration information, the delineation of the suspected area of oil and gas.Using thermal infrared data for temperature inversion, exploring the relationship between hydrocarbon alteration mineral information between surface temperature information. Finally, according to the extraction of hydrocarbons has obtained information leakage alteration mineral and thermal infrared surface temperature inversion, combined with existing research area geology, oil and gas,and other geophysical and geochemical data, evaluate Salamat basin oiliness.
