Alternanthera philoxeroides is a kind of potassium-stimulating plant,which has strong potassium-enriching ability,and has strong adaptability and survivability.In this experiment,we studied the physiological and proteomics of Alternanthera philoxeroides under potassium depletion.We found that under the potassium deficiency of Alternanthera philoxeroides,the growth would be slow,the rootss would be yellow,the roots activity will be decreased,the internodes would be shorter,and the leaves would mature slowly.Peroxidase(POD)accumulated in plants.Using proteomics methods,a total of 206 differential abundance proteins(DAPs)were found in Alternanthera philoxeroides,and we found that there were 58 DAPs in the roots,66 DAPs in the stemss.45 DAPs in the leaves by using MS mass spectrometryto identify.The DAPS were classified into three groups by WEGO analysis,including cell components,molecular functions and biological processes.There were 8 group of cell components,mainly concentrated in cells and organelles;there were 12 group of molecular functions,mainly involved in enzyme activity and cell binding;there were 10 group of biological processes,mainly including cell processes,metabolic processes and single biological processes.The metabolic pathways of the DAPs of Alternanthera philoxeroides leaves,stemss and rootss were analyzed.It was found that the DAPs in the rootss were mainly involved in alanine,aspartate and glutamate metabolic pathways,pentose sugar,uronic acid pathways,pyrimidine metabolic pathways,etc;DAPs in the stems are mainly involved in photosynth-etic carbon fixation pathway,pyruvate metabolic pathway,methane metabolic pathway,etc;DAPs in leaves mainly participate in photosynthetic carbon fixation pathways,glycolytic pathways,etc.In the protein interaction analysis of the DAPs of Alternanthera philoxeroides leaves,stemss and rootss,there were interactions between 22 DAPs in roots,in which 8 DAPs had strong interactions;there were interactions between 48 DAPs in stems,in which 8 DAPs had strong interactions;there were interactions between 24 DAPs in leaves,in which 9 DAPs had strong interactions.The expression levels of 30 DAPs in Alternanthera philoxeroides were checked by quantitative Real-time PCR(q RT-PCR).The expression levels of 10 DAPs were checked in the rootss;8 expression levels were consistent with two-dimensional electrophoresis(2D)experiment;2 genes were not consistent.The expression levels of 10 DAPs were checked in the stemss;9 expression levels were consistent with 2D experiment;1 genes were not consistent.The expression levels of 10 DAPs were checked in the leaves;6 expression levels were consistent with 2D experiment;4 genes were not consistent.
