The Research Area is the Sulige Gas Field in Erdos Basin,and choosing the 1st member of Shan Xi formation as the research object.The characteristic of sandstone gas reservoir in Suliger Gas Field is compactness,and there exist abundant heterogeneous matters in the reservoir,so it is really difficult to mine.In order to guarantee the rationality and scientificity of gas field in research area,the log interpretation methods and gas potential of reservoirs should be studied firstly.Before the appraisal analysis of reservoirs'gas potential,we have analyzed the lithology and petrophysical properties of the research area's inner reservoir.The reservoir lithology of the 1st member of Shan Xi formation is mainly lithic sandstone and lithic quartz sandstone.The characteristics of these stones are abundant lithic fragment,high quartz and less feldspar.According to the ES curves,compared with lithic quartz sandstone,lithic sandstone has relatively higher natural Gamma Ray(GR),higher?b and lower acoustic interval travel time(?t).The main pore type of the reservoir is secondary pore,and followed by crude residual intergranular pore.According to the relationship between porosity log and the measured physical properties data of core intersection,acoustic interval travel time and reservoir physical property has best correltionship.The evaluation method of reservoir's gas bearing potential has been studied in detail by using both qualitative identification and quantitative identification.The qualitative identification can fleetly identify the gas zone and water zone,mainly by using the method of calculating Spontaneous Potential(SP)—the observed SP,acoustic time—electrical resistivity,acoustic time—SP superposed graph technology,and the equivalent elastic modulus curve(?/?t~2).And the realizing of the quantitative identification is mainly by using the core electricity experiment results of regression,confirming the rock-electro parameters such as a,b,m,n of the 1st member of Shan Xi formation in the research area,and calculating and applying of Archie formulation.Moreover,by using the method of literature and cross plot technique this paper also confirmed the explanatory minimum of the 1st member of Shan Xi formation in the research area.
