As a graduate student,the final assessment before graduation is the dissertation.The quality of the dissertation is one of the important standards for evaluating the quality of graduate students.It is the mastery of the basic theoretical knowledge and methods of graduate students during their study in the school and the professional field.The research ability and other comprehensive qualities.Therefore,graduate students should attach great importance to the writing of graduation thesis.As the primary link,the topic selection of degree thesis must become the top priority.As the saying goes,"Everything is difficult to start",the selection of a good degree thesis affects the research direction,research methods,theoretical construction,and the value of the thesis.Therefore,the topic selection stage of the thesis is the most difficult to grasp in the process of writing a graduate thesis stage.In this study,Fujian Normal University,Xinjiang Normal University and Tibet University's discipline teaching(geography)and Tibet University's discipline teaching(mathematics)majors totaled 249 dissertations as research objects,using literature analysis,data statistics and comparative analysis.Based on the classification of the sample selection field,the main analysis of the sample is the research direction,research focus and other dimensions,and the basic characteristics of the master's degree thesis of the subject teaching(geography)of Tibet University,the outstanding research areas,and the existing topic selection problems are found.,From the school level,the mentor level and the student level,to give the Tibet University subject teaching(geography)professional corresponding measures.This article is mainly divided into the following five parts:The first Part : Introduction.This chapter introduces the main background of topic selection,discusses the importance of degree thesis and topic selection during the postgraduate period,summarizes the significance of research topic selection,and at the same time consults the current status of research in this field at home and abroad.(Geography)There is a big gap in the research on the topic selection of degree thesis.Therefore,the research content,methods,research ideas and innovation points of this article are determined.The second part: the definition of related concepts and the theoretical basis of research.This chapter focuses on the definition of the concept of master's degree in education,to prevent everyone from confusing the study of the topic selection of the degree thesis and academic major,and also made the two concepts of "degree thesis" and "topic selection" appearing in this article.Relevant definitions also summarize the corresponding theoretical basis.The third part: the overall analysis of the academic dissertations(geography)colleges and universities in the country.Through the data screening of the subject teaching(geography)major on HowNet,a simple analysis is performed using the document measurement analysis software VOS viewer to obtain the keywords of the degree thesis and the analysis of its relevance.Through quantitative analysis,it explains the research fields and highlights the characteristics of selected topics in several universities,and compares and analyzes similar majors.The fourth part: Through the investigation and research of the previous part,it summarizes the main problems that appeared in the selection of the thesis of the master of discipline teaching(geography)of Tibet University and gives corresponding suggestions and measures.Although the topic selection of the master's degree thesis of the subject teaching(geography)of Tibet University has its own innovation,there are still some problems such as the repeated topic selection of the thesis and the unclear research object.According to the actual situation of Tibet University,the author proposes solutions from three levels: school,tutor and student.The school should create channels and conditions for the source of the topic selection of the master's degree thesis in geography education;the tutor should continue to strengthen its team construction and strictly grasp the degree thesis Open the question;graduate students should strictly demand themselves in their daily study and give full play to their subjective initiative.The Fifth Part : Summarize the conclusions of this study,explain the deficiencies of the research and the prospects for future research in this field.Comparing the selection of thesis thesis for free normal students and non-free normal students in the subject teaching(geography),combined with research methods such as questionnaires and interviews,to further explore the topic selection for master degree thesis in other universities Influencing factors.Through this discussion,the following conclusions are mainly drawn:(1)The topic selection of the master's degree thesis of Discipline Teaching(Geography)of Tibet University involves four categories: teaching,curriculum,teacher and student.The teaching strategies and methods,teachers The focus of professional development is relatively high;(2)Tibet University's subject teaching(geography)professional degree thesis has problems such as unclear research objects,predictable research results,and programmatic expression of topics.(3)Tibet University's discipline teaching(geography)major should actively seek countermeasures for optimizing the selection of degree thesis topics,from improving training objectives,prolonging the period of education internships,strengthening the construction of the mentor team,setting up multiple degree thesis opening topics,and strengthening the theoretical study of graduate students.Start thinking.
