Fiber lasers are widely used in cutting,welding,cladding and other manufacturing fields due to their many advantages.At the same time,the increasing demand in various fields has also prompted the continuous improvement of the fiber laser output power.However,such progress also brings a series of problems.On the one hand,too much residual light will be generated in the fiber cladding,affecting the output beam quality and even damaging the laser.On the other hand,the power density of the fiber end face is too high,which may burn the fiber end face.In order to solve the above-mentioned problems,laser light cables are often added at the output end of the laser to filter the residual light in the cladding and reduce the power density of the output fiber end.The author mainly builds three sets of equipment for producing energy transfer fiber optic components.The main function of each device including stripping of optical fiber coatings,the preparation of cladding light strippers,and welding end caps.The content of the paper includes the following aspects:(1)Expounding the basic theory of laser transmission,and clarifying the basic structure of energy transfer fiber optic components.(2)The advantages and disadvantages of several optical fiber coating strippers used at present are analyzed and compared.The equipment platform is built according to the method of the heating blade acting on the rotating optical fiber to remove the coating layer of the optical fiber,exploring the stripping process of optical fiber coating.The equipment platform is built based on the method that using a heating blade to act on the rotating optical fiber to remover the coating layer and then used to explore the stripping process.Finally,we got the surface of the cladding without coating layer and the stripping end angle close to 90°.(3)The advantages and disadvantages of several cladding light strippers are compared and analyzed.The equipment platform is built by etching the outer cladding of the optical fiber with the CO2 laser.Using the fiber section mentioned earlier to make cladding light strippers and exploring the processing technology to analyze the quality of the cladding light strippers.We got cladding light stripper with the explored parameters,while filtering out the 50W cladding light with no cooling,the working temperature is 43.6? and the cladding light attenuation is 25.69d B.(4)Introducing the harm of optical damage to the fiber end face and pointing out advantages and disadvantages of end cap welding methods.The end cap welding equipment platform was built by arranging flame in the welding area and combining the image detection method.The optical fiber with a cladding light stripper was welded to the quartz end cap.The resulted energy transmission fiber was tested and analyzed,when the power is 250W with the14?m core diameter,the output beam quality is 1.17.
