In recent years, the teacher-student ratio has received extensive attention in education, and its influencing factors have gradually become a theoretical and practical issue that is widely concerned by all sectors of society. The teacher-student ratio is one of the indicators to measure the effectiveness of running a school,it is a description of the current state of education, and it is also an important factor affecting school education and student performance. Therefore, exploring the changes of teacher-student ratio and its influencing factors is of practical significance to the development of education.Based on national standards for teacher-student ratios at all levels, this article starts with the results of cluster analysis to find the influencing factors of the teacher-student ratio, and on this basis proposes reasonable estimates and policy recommendations for the influencing factors. This paper conducts descriptive statistics and cluster analysis on the teacher-student ratios at all levels in various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in recent years. The cluster analysis results are used to find out the factors that affect the economic development level of the teacher-student ratio, and select education funding and per capita regional production. The total value is an economic indicator. The selection of the higher education rate at all levels is an index of educational benefits.A univariate linear regression analysis method is used to explore the relationship between the teacher-student ratio at all levels.Establish a regression equation and predict the estimated value of each influencing factor based on the standard teacher-student ratio, and then propose reasonable development goals for the influencing factor of the teacher-student ratio.Through empirical analysis, this study draws the following conclusions:(1)An analysis of the development trend of the teacher-student ratio at all levels in Chongqing shows that there is a continuous downward trend in the teacher-student ratio in primary and secondary schools, while the teacher-student ratio in ordinary colleges has risen to decline;Cluster analysis shows that provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and municipalities across the country are divided into three categories based on the teacher-student ratio at all levels and education expenditures.According to the classification results, education expenditures and per capita GDP are selected as influencing factors of economic indicators, and the selected progression rate is an influencing factor of education indicators.(2)The regression analysis between the teacher-student ratio at all levels and education funding, per capita GDP,and the enrollment rate at all levels draws the following conclusions:There is a negative correlation between the junior high school teacher-student ratio, the high school teacher-student ratio, and education funding. There is a positive correlation between the general college teacher-student ratio and education funding, while the primary school teacher-student ratio and education funding are not significantly related. There is a negative correlation between the teacher-student ratio, junior high school teacher-student ratio, and high school teacher-student ratio and per capita GDP,while the correlation between ordinary college teacher-student ratio and per capita GDP is not obvious;primary school teacher-student ratio There is a negative correlation between the rate of entry to primary school, the ratio of junior high school students to students, and the rate of junior high school students.(3)Based on the teacher-student ratios at all levels as predictive variables, education funding, per capita GDP,and the rate of advancement at all levels as dependent variables, establish appropriate regression equations.Predictive estimates are based on 19teachers-student ratio in primary school,13.5 in junior high school,13.5 in high school,12.5in high school, and 18 in normal college.According to the prediction equations between education funds and junior high school teachers and students, education funds and high school teacher-student ratios, and education funds and ordinary colleges and universities, the education funds under the standard teacher-student ratio are estimated to be 73.032 billion yuan,90.105 billion yuan and 77.59 billion yuan. The per capita area under the standard teacher-student ratio is obtained according to the prediction equations between the per capita GDP and the ratio of teachers to students in primary schools, the ratio of per capita GDP to the ratio of teachers to students in junior high schools, and the ratio of per capita GDP to the ratio of teachers to students in high schools. The total value of production was 30.49 thousand yuan,41.34 thousand yuan and 56.921 thousand yuan.According to the prediction equations between the primary school entrance rate and the primary school teacher-student ratio and the junior middle school entrance rate and the junior high school teacher-student ratio, the primary school entrance rate and junior high school entrance rate under the standard teacher-student ratio are 96.486% and 91.042%,respectively.
