Research On Climate Change Report In China Daily From The Perspective Of Framework Theory(2017-2019)

In recent years,the harm shown by climate change has been a serious threatening to humans survival.As a major emitter of greenhouse gases,China has an inescapable responsibility to promote global climate governance.As a responsible country,China has always attached great importance to the issue of climate change,participated in international negotiations on climate change actively and made important contributions.At the same time,climate communication has gradually become the focus of Chinese scholars.The media is not only the main channel for the public to obtain climate change information,but also an important participant in climate communication.This paper takes the climate change report of China Daily as the research object,and uses the content analysis method to sort out and analyze the report under the guidance of the frame theory,in order to study the characteristics of the framework and analyze the factorsthat affect the construction of the frame,and put forward the corresponding improvement strategies in view of the shortcomings in the report.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research background and significance,reviews the related concepts and theories,explains the research methods and research programs,and puts forward to the innovation of the research.The second,third and fourth parts are the core of this paper.The second part mainly analyzes the contents of China Daily's reports on climate change,and analyzes the sample quantities,layout distribution,report illustration and report genre through the construction of "what to say" and "how to say".The third part is the refinement of China Daily's climate change reporting framework,which is mainly divided into the following four reporting frameworks: the scientific framework of objective rationality,the action framework of climate governance,the conflict framework of political struggles,and the economic outcome framework of strengthening the crisis.On this basis,the paper further discusses the three main factors that influence the construction of the framework.The fourth part summarizes the shortcomings of China Daily's climate change report,which is mainly divided into four aspects: lack of continuity in reporting,the monopoly of voice by professionals,the reportlacks a call to action.,a single perspective weakens risk perception At the end of the article.In view of the above shortcomings,the paper proposed some improvement strategies:improve the frequency of reporting,listen to the voice of the people,enrich the perspective of reporting,and set the agenda actively.
