Chaotic lasers are widely used in the fields of high-speed true random code generation,distributed fiber sensing,secure communication,and radar.The photonic integrated chaotic laser has the advantages of small size,high conversion efficiency,easy integration,stability and reliability,ensuring the real practicality and industrialization of the chaotic laser.Photonic integrated chaotic lasers require stable current drive and temperature control,but current commercial laser drive sources and temperature control sources cannot fully meet the demand.This paper designed a current drive and temperature control circuit system for photonic integrated chaotic laser,and built a drive and temperature control integrated source prototype of photonic integrated chaotic laser,which can better meet the needs of photonic integrated chaotic laser.The research content of this article is given as follows:(1)Design photonic integrated chaotic laser current drive circuit.The negative feedback circuit is used to realize the constant current output,and the circuit system error is eliminated by changing the reference voltage.Achieve a minimum of 0.01 m A drive current adjustment accuracy,high current stability and adjustable output linearity.Use the method of queuing control to write the drive current control program based on STM32.The experimental results show that the current stability of the drive circuit is better than 0.005 %.(2)Design temperature control circuit of photonic integrated chaotic laser.Including the temperature setting circuit,TEC maximum voltage and maximum current setting circuit and other modules,using the Wheatstone bridge to measure the laser temperature and adjusting the laser TEC through PID compensation to achieve temperature control.The experimental results show that the temperature control circuit can achieve a laser temperature fluctuation of about ±0.008 ?within 2 hours.(3)A prototype of drive and temperature control integrated source for photonic integrated chaotic laser was built.The prototype structure is designed,the components are selected,and the control program is written.The experimental performance of the prototype is tested.The output characteristics and P-I curve of the photonic integrated chaotic laser are measured.The technical indicators are good.The integrated board for driving and temperature control circuit is further designed,and the working performance is tested,and the technical indicators still need to be improved.
