Dynamic soil-structure interaction(DSSI)is one of the key problems in seismicdesign study of civil engineering, and compared with DSSI in isotropic layered site,DSSI in transversely isotropic layered site is of more importance. However, most of the references available now are limited within the analysis in isotropic sites, and there is no insightful knowledge about the characteristics of DSSI in transversely isotropic layered sites.Based on the study of isotropic layered site dynamic soil-structure interaction, this thesis further studies the general engineering characteristics of transversely isotropic soil, which makes the study closer to the actual project and has greater practical significance and reference value. This thesis uses Green functions in layered half-space and indirect boundary element method to analyze the influences of dynamic characteristics of site on DSSI systematically. This thesis adopts single layer on bedrock as site model, and the classical model of rigid foundation-shear wall and rigid foundation-SDOF as structure model,to study two-dimensional DSSI in elastic layered site under the excitation of in-plane P waves or SV waves.Although the model adopted in this thesis is simple, the essential influences of dynamic characteristics of site on DSSI can be revealed, providing guidance to engineering. The correctness of this thesis is verified by taking transverse isotropic parameters as isotropic cases and comparing with the results of soil-structure interaction in isotropic soil layers. In this thesis, the results of soil-structure interaction in different transversely isotropic soil layers are calculated by calculating the different ratio of horizontal and vertical compressive modulus and shear modulus. The results of layered half-space and uniform halfspace are analyzed and compared. The analysis shows that the dynamic response of the layered site has obvious peaks near the first natural frequency of the site. The transverse isotropy of the site will lead to the change of resonance frequency and peak value of dynamic response. The results in transversely isotropic soil layers are significantly different from those in isotropic soil layers. At the same time, the dynamic response of foundation and superstructure in homogeneous half-space is also significantly different from that in layered half-space.
