The one-dimensional photonic crystals prepared by the bottom-up self-assembly of brush block copolymers,show the advantages of low-cost,structural designability,simple operation and flexible controllability.As sensors,photonic crystals are favored for their diversified functions and rapid detection by naked eyes.Therefore,responsive one-dimensional photonic crystals show a broad potential in application.In this thesis,a dendritic block copolymer brush with cross-linkable groups was synthesized by ring-opening metathesis polymerization(ROMP).A selected-crosslinked one-dimensional photonic crystals film was prepared by solvent evaporation self-assembly under ultraviolet light.The film was successfully used to detect different alcohols solvents,isomeric alcohol systems and the composition of binary mixed alcohols systems and alcohols-water systems.Through the color change of the photonic crystals' thin films,the type of alcohols and alcohols binary mixtures was qualitatively detected by naked eyes.With the help of maximum reflection wavelength test,quantitative analysis of the mixture composition could be achieved.Furthermore,the film showed excellent stability and repeatability.Finally,the solvent-responsive mechanism of the photonic crystals thin films was studied.On another hand,four macromonomers with different end groups were prepared by atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP)initiated by the initiators with different structures.Correspondingly,four brush block copolymers with different rigidity of the main chain but the same composition of side chain were prepared by ROMP of different macromonomers.One-dimensional photonic crystals thin films were prepared by the directly bulk self-assembly of the prepared brush block copolymers under pressure.The effect of the glass transition temperatures of the main chain and side chain on the in-situ pressure self-assembly of the brush block copolymers were studied.By combining the photonic crystal properties and mechanical properties,this work provides a new and effective method for the preparation of mechanical-responsive photonic crystals sensors.
