The success of science in social life highlights its place,and it is wildly believed by people that objects conforming to science and rational thought are objective and realistic.However,the American philosopher of science,Feyerabend puts forward different view,who thinks that science and rationality do not have superiority,and he opposes Chauvinism of Science and rationalism.The philosophy thought of Feyerabend grows out of empiricism and rationalism and other traditional philosophical views,but he does not depend on them.In addition,on the basis of opposition of scientific superiority,he criticizes the traditional mainstream view of science,and puts forward “anarchism epistemology”,“everything is okay”,“principle of toughness”,“hyperplasia of principle”,and “anti-induction”,and his philosophy of science has some meaning of “farewell to reason”.When Feyerabend criticizes science and reason,he also pays attention to the concern for humanity with simple humanistic tendency.The humanistic thought in his view of science highlights his attention to traditional Chinese medicine and non-white culture and also the doubt toward experts.In addition,he extremely respects the nature of people and also the diversity of culture of human.Previously,the scientific philosophy thought of Feyerabend did not have close connection with Chinese society due to his social and historical background,so that it could not be focused enough.However,currently,with the great development of science and technology in China,his scientific philosophy thought gives some inspirations to the development of China.Besides,as to the humanistic thought in his view of science,its attention to traditional culture and his pluralistic methodology also enlighten the culture and education development in China.
