Changes in local weather elements in the dam area have always been an important part of the impact assessment of flood discharge atomization.How to perform a micro-scale numerical simulation of the complex terrain on the local meteorological field of the dam area has become an urgent important question to solve the numerical simulation of flood discharge atomization.In this paper,the WRF/Nudging/CALMET model is used to study the effect of atomization on the weather environment under the flood discharge conditions in the dam area.The main contents of the paper are as follows:(1)The WRF/Nudging/CALMET numerical simulation method is proposed to study the numerical model of the local meteorological field at the micro-scale.Based on the mesoscale model WRF,the Nudging assimilation technique is used to assimilate the measured data into the model,and the output is used as the initial field of CALMET to run the simulation study of the local meteorological field at the micro-scale.(2)Verifying the applicability of WRF/Nudging/CALMET numerical simulation method.The Anning River Valley was selected for the assimilation numerical simulation study.By comparing the wind speed,temperature results and actual observation data obtained by the simulation,the applicability of the WRF/Nudging/CALMET model under the river valley terrain conditions was analyzed and evaluated.The results show that the WRF/Nudging/CALMET model can accurately simulate the weather elements of river valley terrain.(3)Using WRF/Nudging/CALMET numerical simulation method,the assimilation numerical simulation study was carried out on Ertan Hydropower Station and Jinping I Hydropower Station.Combining with the observation data of the flood discharge atomization prototype,the parameters such as water wind,temperature,relative humidity and pressure during the flood discharge period are assimilated into the WRF background field,and dynamic downscaling is performed.The changes and influence range of weather elements during the flood discharge period of Ertan Hydropower Station and Jinping I Hydropower Station on a small scale are obtained.
