This paper by 1,10-phenanthroline(phen,phenanthroline)as raw material,by oxidation and condensation reaction with diamine, two derivatives of phenantholine were synthesized:1,10-phenanthroline diketone(Dione)and ryrazine[3,2-f:2’,3-h]quinoxaline(L1)and the fluorescence identification of metal ions by phenantholine and two derivatives was studied,The research has good value for the fluorescence recognition of metal ions. The specific research results are as follows:1.phenanthroline has fluorescence recognition effect on Zn2+ and Cd2+ in transition metal ions, which can significantly enhance the fluorescence of phenanthroline solution.Further studies showed that the recognition effect of phenanthroline on Zn2+was better than that of Cd2+,and the fluorescence enhancement effect of Zn2+ was twice that of Cd2+.The most rare is that the pH of the system has little effect on fluorescence recognition, and it plays a role in recognition when the pH is 3-10.The concentration limit of Zn2+was 1.21×10-6M,and that of Cd2+ was 1.07×10-5M.2.Dione has fluorescence recognition effect on precious metal ion Pd2+,and Pd2+ has special fluorescence enhancement recognition effect on Dione, and the strongest fluores cence emission occurs when the molar ratio of the two is nDione:nPd2+=4:1.Compared with the wide pH range of phen, fluorescence recognition of Dione by Pd2+ depends on pH and can only be recognized at pH=7,which may be related to precipitation of Pd2+ions under alkaline conditions and enol weakening of Dione under acidic conditions.3.Similar to Dione,L1 also shows fluorescence enhanced recognition of Pd2+,but the strongest peak of fluorescence emission of this compound occurs when the molar ratio is 1:1.Compared with the recognition of metal ions by the two compounds mentioned above,L1’s fluorescence enhanced recognition of Pd2+ does not depend on pH.When pH≤11,L1 can show fluorescence recognition of Pd2+,which is consistent with the structure of L1 where nitrogen atoms replace oxygen atoms. This paper discusses the identification of metal ions by phenantholine and its derivative geophysical prospecting and tests the effects of concentration, molar ratio and pH on the identification.Experiments show that some metal ions can be identified by using flu orescence enhancement by changing the structure of derivatives, which makes a preliminary study on whether phenantholine compounds can be used as metal ion fluorescence probes, and has certain significance in the expansion of metal ion fluorescence probes.
