The research of high-energy nuclear fragmentation has been in the forefront of nuclear physics, which has laid an important foundation for other disciplines and cosmic radiation protection and human cancer treatment.especially heavy ion beams have great advantages in the study of physical and biological properties. At present, although there are many studies on heavy ions at home and abroad, there are few studies on the angular distribution of the projectile fragments, but the research on its angle and temperature is very necessary. In this paper, the total charge change cross section of 84Kr fragmentation on polyethylene target at the maximum energy of 400 A Me V is studied by using CR-39 plastic nuclear track detector. In addition, the total charge change cross section of the hydrogen target was calculated based on the results of polyethylene target and carbon target. The results show that the total charge change cross section of 84Kr fragmentation on the CH2target is independent of the energy of the beam we have studied and is basically consistent with the Bradt-Peter semi-empirical formula prediction. The average emission angle of projectile fragments increases with the decrease of projectile fragment charge;whereas for the same projectile fragment, the angular distribution has no obvious dependence on the mass of the target nucleus. The cumulative squared transverse momentum distribution of projectile fragments can be well represented by a single rayleigh distribution, the temperature of projectile fragment emission source is about 1.0?9.0 Me V,independent of the projectile fragments mass.
