Over the years,the infrastructure construction in the western region of my country has achieved unprecedented development along with the advancement and deepening of the western development strategy.Due to the special natural environment and topography,the construction of infrastructure in the western mountainous areas often encounters the problem of high filling and deep excavation,forming many high filling slopes,of which a considerable part of them are newly high filling slopes,so it is very important to analyze the stability of newly high fill slopes.Compared with low fill slopes,the stability of high fill slopes is more complicated,accurate analysis of the instability failure mechanism of high fill slopes and ensuring that the safety factor of the slope meets the requirements of the specification has become an important issue to be solved in slope engineering.There is a large range of newly high fill slopes in Dashui Industrial Park in Jinzhong Town,Kaiyang County,Guizhou Province.The engineering investigation found that there were open cracks within a certain range of the BP3 slope,so it is necessary to conduct a stability study on the slope.For the sake of safety,the 14-14'typical section with the largest thickness and slope of the newly filled BP3 slope was selected for analysis,the finite element strength reduction method and the limit equilibrium method were used for analysis.First,the location,cause and type of cracks were investigated and analyzed;then analyzed the slope stability evolution law under rainfall conditions;finally,the treatment measures and treatment effects of the newly high fill slopes are analyzed.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The BP3 slope is basically stable under its own weight.The cracks on the slope are not a precursor to slope instability,but are related to the consolidation and settlement of the newly filled soil under its own weight.However,the slope turned into an unstable state under the maximum daily rainfall.(2)When the total rainfall is constant,the stability of the slope decreases as the rainfall intensity increases.Under the condition of a certain rainfall intensity,the stability of the slope gradually decreases with the extension of the rainfall duration.Under the condition of a certain rainfall duration,the slope stability decreases with the increase of rainfall intensity.(3)The treatment effect of slope reinforced by anti slide pile under the original reinforcement scheme is discussed.Setting up anti-slide piles can obviously reduce the displacement of the slope,but the effect of improving the safety factor of the slope is general.If the slope is cut again,the slope can be in a stable state even under extreme rainfall.
