Oil and gas resource development areas are important national energy production bases.Due to the long-term exploitation of oil and gas resources, the local water bodies, grasslands, land, forests and other natural ecological environment systems have been greatly affected, leading to imbalances in ecological supply and demand in some regions. The regional ecosystem is under great pressure. In order to understand the current ecological pressure level and main sources of oil and gas resource development areas, and to provide suggestions for the subsequent ecological construction of oil fields,it is necessary to study the ecological carrying capacity of oil and gas resource development areas. The ecological footprint method is an important method to evaluate the ecological carrying capacity of a region. This method analyzes the ecological carrying capacity of the regional eco-economic system based on statistical data such as regional resource consumption, industrial pollutant discharge and various land areas, and then judges the regional ecology Environmental support for regional economic activities. This paper selects the ecological footprint model, combines the research conclusions of relevant documents at home and abroad, and uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods to study the ecological carrying capacity of my country's oil and gas resource development regions.First,on the basis of analyzing the research background of the thesis and clarifying the purpose and significance of the research, the relevant literature on ecological carrying capacity research at home and abroad was sorted out,and then the research framework of this paper was determined.Secondly,it defines the research object of this article, and elaborates the related concepts and theories involved in the research topic.Next,it analyzes the ecological environmental impact of oil and gas resource development, and summarizes its resource consumption and pollution emissions from three aspects: water environment, land environment, and atmospheric environment.Based on this, combined with regional characteristics, constructs Index system of ecological footprint account for oil and gas resource development zones. The classification of productive land in the basic ecological footprint model, the premise assumptions and calculation methods for the establishment of the model, conversion factors, etc.were interpreted again;the indicators in the comprehensive analysis system for the ecological carrying capacity of the oil and gas resource development area were explained,in order to develop The research on the ecological carrying capacity of oil and gas development regions has laid the methodological foundation. Finally, the Daqing Oilfield was selected to conduct an empirical study on the ecological carrying capacity of the oil and gas resource development zone. The ecological footprint of the Daqing Oilfield from 1987 to 2017,ecological carrying capacity, footprint depth and other ecological footprint account indicators were calculated, combined with the resource flow occupancy rate and other 6 ecological factors. The comprehensive analysis index of carrying capacity, calculation and analysis of the carrying status and sustainable development capacity of the oilfield eco-economic system. It is concluded that the ecology of Daqing Oilfield has been greatly overloaded and economic development is unsustainable. At the same time,it proves that the ecological bearing pressure of oil and gas resource development areas is relatively large, and the energy land footprint is too large.Based on the results of the analysis, corresponding suggestions for improving ecological carrying capacity and promoting sustainable development are put forward. The study believes that the use of the ecological footprint method to study the ecological carrying capacity of oil and gas resource development regions can be used as a reference for adjusting the contradiction between ecological supply and demand in oilfield areas and promoting regional sustainable development.
