As the vector hydrophone and its array have been widely studied by scholars at home and abroad,a lot of research results have emerged on how to solve the problem of high-resolution DOA estimation in array signal processing,such as beamformer based on acoustic vector array and high-resolution DOA estimation algorithm.But these algorithms are based on the ideal array manifold of acoustic vector.Due to the existence of a variety of errors in vector hydrophone array,such as amplitude and phase errors,sensor position errors and so on,the performance of DOA estimation of these algorithms will seriously degrade or even fail in practical engineering applications.Therefore,before the actual use of vector hydrophone array for DOA estimation,the vector hydrophone array error correction work must be carried out,and the array error calibration is the basis of high-performance sonar detection.Based on the summary of the research results of vector hydrophone and its array application at home and abroad,this paper only focuses on the error calibration of vector hydrophone array,takes the principle of vector sound field as the theoretical basis,takes the practical engineering application of vector hydrophone and its array as the goal,and takes the installation and calibration technology of vector hydrophone array as the research object,The error of vector array is analyzed and discussed in detail from many aspects,and the error correction method is proposed.The feasibility of the correction method is verified through the analysis of experimental data,which has a certain guiding significance for the theoretical research and engineering practice of vector hydrophone and its array.
