As an important development direction of mariculture,deep-sea cage plays an important role in the development and utilization of marine resources.In recent years,with the rapid development of deep-sea aquaculture equipment in China,more and more attention has been paid to the development of large cage,and some new cage and fishing ground platforms have emerged.The platform is composed of several net cage modules,which has attracted much attention due to its unique design concept and excellent overall performance.Because of its special ball-and-column combination structure and multi-module connection form,it is necessary to study the motion and load prediction method and connector design of the cage in the wave-current environment,so as to lay a foundation for the overall scheme design and safety assessment of the fishery platform.The motion and load response characteristics of a single cage module and two cages in series in wave and flow field are studied in this paper.Based on the response results and different connection forms of the cage,the design load of the connector was determined,and the preliminary design and strength analysis of the connector were carried out according to the design load.Firstly,this paper introduces the research status of deep-sea cages and large offshore floating structure connectors,analyzes the structure information of the deep-sea net cage and the calculation method of motion and load of the net cage.Then,Morison equation was used to calculate the motion and load response of a single cage and two series cages,and the wave force was compared and analyzed with the CFD software STAR-CCM+.Finally,based on two series cages,tank model tests are carried out to verify the calculation results of motion and load of the program.Based on the calculation results of the wave and current load,the force analysis is carried out for different cage connection methods,and then the design load of the connector is determined.The design scheme of the hinged connector of the two cages is proposed.Based on the design load,the finite element analysis software Abaqus is used to analyze the structural strength of the connector.The results show that the structure of the connector basically meets the strength requirements.
