Epoxy Resin is a common insulating material in DC gas insulated metal closed switch and DC gas insulated metal closed transmission lines.However,under the action of high-voltage DC field,a large amount of charge is easily accumulated on the surface of the Epoxy Resin,which directly leads to the degradation of the insulation performance of the Epoxy Resin.Causes the power system operation safety hidden trouble to increase.Therefore,plasma surface modification technology was used to treat epoxy resin,and the chemical,physical and electrical properties of the material before and after modification were explored,so as to improve the dynamic characteristics of surface charge and improve the insulation performance.Firstly,Set the Atmospheric Pressure Dielectric Barrier Discharge and Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Jet modified platform,and the experiment proves the effect of surface modification of two platforms.In order to explore the effect of surface physical morphology on the electrical properties of EP surface,plasma etching of EP surface was carried out in a pure argon atmosphere.It was found that the surface roughness of EP was improved by both plasma modification methods,and the relationship between EP surface roughness and treatment time was monotonically increased.In addition,the increase of EP surface roughness will reduce the amount of surface charge accumulation,and the electrical performance of EP treated with APPJ will improve even more.Secondly,In order to explore the influence of chemical elements on the electrical properties of EP surface,two modification methods,DBD and APPJ,were used to carry out plasma fluoridation experiment of epoxy resin.It was found that under the two plasma modification methods,the content of F element on the surface of epoxy resin samples increased with the increase of modification time,while APPJ had better treatment effect,and the flashover voltage along the surface increased by 18.6%.In the process of plasma surface modification,fluorine atoms are introduced into the surface of EP samples,which changes the molecular structure of EP samples and affects the surface electrical properties.In addition to the influence of the introduction of chemical groups on the surface of samples,after calculation and analysis,the discharge power density of EP samples under APPJ treatment was increased by 2 times compared with DBD,which may also be one of the important reasons affecting the improvement of electrical performance of plasma treatment.In addition,Two modification methods,DBD and APPJ,were used to modify the surface silicon of epoxy resin in argon atmosphere.It was found that the surface electrical performance improvement was the best under APPJ modification.Considering the comprehensive influence of DBD and APPJ modification methods on EP surface physical morphology modification and surface chemical component modification,the influence of modification methods on electrical properties was mainly studied.Combined with the previous chapters,the physical and chemical mechanism of plasma surface treatment to improve EP surface electrical properties was discussed.To sum up,Plasma surface treatment can effectively improve the electrical properties of epoxy resin surface and provide scientific basis for solving the insulation problem of HVDC equipment.
