Based on the previous long-term research results and understanding,this paper taked the upper and middle reaches of the Tarim River as the research target area,and the desert-riparian Poplar Euphrates forest as the main research object.The characteristics of radial growth of Poplar Euphrates were analyzed by means of tree ring analysis on the upper and middle reaches of Tarim River.The data of the most sensitive factors(temperature and runoff)affecting the growth of Populus euphratica near the sampling section were selected.And the response of the radial growth of P.euphratica to the dynamic change of temperature and runoff was studied by wavelet analysis and correlation analysis.The researched that sensitivity analysis of radial growth of Populus euphratica to temperature and runoff in Tarim River.The main research results were as follows:(1)There were many cycles in the radial growth of Populus euphratica,temperature and runoff.In the upper reaches of Tarim River,there were 18?20a and10a about periodic variation rules in the growth of Populus euphratic.In the middle reaches of Tarim River,the periodic change of Populus euphratica was complex at sampling sites.In the growth process of Populus euphratica,there were two kinds of periodic change rules of 18?20a and 10a at Xinshajilike.And there were two kinds of periodic change rules of 25a and 15a at Kanbaierwusitan.In the process of temperature evolution,the temperature of Kuche site had a periodic variation rule of25?30a.In Luntai,there were mainly two kinds of periodic change rules of 10?15a and 25?30 a.The upper and middle reaches of Tarim River had the same regularity of periodic change in the process of runoff evolution.There were five kinds of cycle changing rules of runoff in 18 a,25a,15a,10a and 8 a.(2)Temperature and runoff affected the growth of Populus euphratica in different time periods.In terms of temperature,the growth of Populus euphratica was mainly affected by the temperature from May to October in the upstream sampling section.In the middle,the temperature from June to October had the greatest influence on the growth of Populus euphratica.In the upper reaches of the Tarim River,the growth of Populus euphratica was mainly affected by the runoff from P11-3 months.The river bank Populus euphratica was mainly affected by the runoff from November of the previous year to march of the current year in the Xinshajilike section.The river bank Populus euphratica was mainly affected by the runoff from December of the previous year to march of the current year in the Canberwstein section of.(3)Populus euphratica had the most suitable temperature and runoff range.In terms of temperature,the temperature range suitable for P.Euphrates was slightly different in the upper and middle reaches of Tarim River.The Tarim River upstream sampling section,P.euphratica growth of optimum temperature range was21.1-21.3?.P.euphratica growth of optimum temperature range was 21.4-21.9?in the middle reaches of Tarim River.The runoff range of Poplar Euphrates was different in the upper and middle reaches of Tarim River.In the upstream sampling section,P.euphratica growth of optimum runoff range was 1.334-1.769×10~8m3.In midstream sampling section,P.euphratica growth of optimum runoff range was0.745-1.2056×10~8m3.(4)Based on the Gray Correlation Method,the contribution of temperature and runoff to Populus euphratica growth was calculated.The results showed that temperature had a great influence on the growth of Populus euphratica along the Tarim River trunk stream,followed by runoff.The river bank Populus euphratica was more sensitive to climate change.In the sampling section of the upper reaches of Tarim River,temperature was related to the growth intensity of Populus euphratica,and runoff was moderately related to the growth of Populus euphratica.In the middle reaches of Tarim River,temperature and runoff were intensity correlations for the growth of Populus euphratica.
