As the most advanced special processing technology in the twenty-first Century,the principle of laser shock-processing technology is to impose a compressive stress on the surface of the material by using high-energy pulse laser,which greatly improves the fatigue strength and corrosion resistance of the material.The most prominent influence on the effect of laser shock peening the workpiece is the laser parameters,such as laser energy,pulse width,pulse frequency,laser wavelength,etc.Therefore,it has important practical significance for the detection of laser parameters.The real-time monitoring system of laser parameters in the process of laser shock strengthening can not only observe the changes of laser parameters at any time,but also provide guarantee for the stability of laser.At the same time,the impact strengthening effect of laser can be roughly evaluated according to the change of laser parameters.To this end,this paper designs a laser parameter online constantly monitoring system,which can measure three laser parameters of laser energy,waveform,and spot spatial distribution in real time simultaneously.Through software system data analysis,it can effectively monitor whether the system can realize the parameter constantly measurement,and can judge whether the laser is stable according to the constantly changes of parameters.First of all,this paper introduces the source and background of the subject,and introduces the purpose and significance of the design and development of a constantly monitoring system for laser parameters.It mainly studies the measurement principles and methods of laser energy,laser pulse width,and spatial distribution of light spots.On this basis,the internal optical path design of laser parameter monitoring system is completed.The selection of components and the process of building hardware platform are introduced in detail.And completed the process design of the system software.Finally,the experiment of laser parameter monitoring was carried out with the developed laser.The experimental results show that the energy of the laser can reach 1-10 j,the pulse width of the laser can be adjusted to 16-23 ns,and the spot distribution is uniform and the shape of the spot is smooth.And it can realize online constantly monitoring of three parameters of laser energy,laser pulse width and spot spatial distribution.Summarize the factors that affect the laser parameter monitoring system.The online monitoring system of laser parameters can not only monitor the stability of laser,but also protect laser shock strengthening.The advanced level of the laser parameter online constantly monitoring system is far superior to the domestic similar products.There are three innovations in this paper: The first is to independently develop the power control system of the laser,which can meet various needs of the laser.The advanced control window only needs to input the energy of the laser to automatically adjust the values of various parameters,which is convenient for the user to operate.The second is to design the laser path map,which can amplify the laser energy,and the output energy can attain 10 J.The third is to develop an online constantly monitoring system for laser parameters,and design an optical path diagram for parameter monitoring,which can realize online constantly measurement of three parameters of laser energy,laser pulse width,and light spot spatial distribution.In conclusion,based on the online monitoring of laser parameters in the process of laser shock-processing.Firstly,the principles and methods of measurement of laser energy,laser pulse width and spot spatial distribution are studied.Secondly,design a new type of online constantly monitoring system for laser parameters.In order to test the laser parameters online constantly monitoring experiment on the laser with the independently developed laser as the experimental object,the laser parameter online constantly monitoring function was finally realized,and the stability of the laser was also verified.The laser parameter monitoring system can be applied to practice,and provides a guarantee for the effect of laser shock-processing the workpiece.
