The Evolution Of The Simulating Tactics In The Research Of Artificial Intelligence

This paper has combed the history of artificial intelligence research and inspected the progress of artificial intelligence research in different periods.It is found that the main differences of the different schools of artificial intelligence study are the different selection of their simulating tactics,namely: 1,Different understanding of human intelligence;2,The different technology paths of imitating human intelligence are 3,Different levels of artificial intelligence.According to the differences of artificial intelligence researchers in artificial intelligence simulating tactics selection,this paper reexamines the different stages of artificial intelligence research and its main progress:When artificial intelligence emerged,artificial intelligence research symbolism and connectionism represented different simulating tactics.The semiotic simulating tactic aims at realizing the processing of symbolic knowledge,and thinks that human intelligence is the system of symbolic operation,and the research of artificial intelligence is to imitate the operation of the symbolic system.Connectionism advocates that human intelligence comes from the structure of the brain neural network,and it attempts to realize artificial intelligence under the framework of neural network.From 1950 s to 80 s,because of the feasibility of the semiotic simulating tactic relative to the connectionism,the research of artificial intelligence was dominated by symbolism.The representative works of symbolism are expert systems based on database and retrieval technology.With the development of artificial intelligence research,researchers have found that not all problems can be symbolized and some computation is difficult to achieve.People began to think about the new choice of artificial intelligence simulating tactics.Since the 1980 s,the development of cognitive science and philosophy of mind has brought about a new understanding of human intelligence.The behaviorist simulating tactic is the response to this change.Behaviorism believes that the most important features of human intelligence are in human behavior and interaction between human and environment,and artificial intelligence is realized by making robots emphasizing behavioral feedback.After the success of the multilayer neural network,the connectionist strategy has been paid more attention,and the multi-layer neural network technology has been used for the classification of data in various industries.From then on,the artificial intelligence research shows its application prospects and social benefits,and the driving role of social demand and application value to the choice of artificial intelligence strategy is becoming increasingly apparent.Subsequent research and progress in Artificial Intelligence further show the driving and guiding role of social needs and application value in simulating tactics selection.This paper also looks into the development of future artificial intelligence research from the perspective of simulating tactics selection,and believes that the development of artificial intelligence is also driven by social demand and application value.The research field of artificial intelligence,which is valued in the strategic competition of major countries and large enterprises,will have greater development.Artificial intelligence research in the future will be based on the multi-level imitation of human intelligent,and the interdisciplinary and cross domain technology integration will be realized on the technical path.At the level of intelligence,Artificial Intelligence needs the ability of active learning.
