Tibet has a splendid culture different from other regions in China,and also has an extremely long history.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,especially since the reform and opening up,the economic and social development in Tibet has made remarkable achievements.However,due to various reasons,compared with the eastern coastal areas and other regions,the level of economic and social development in Tibet still lags behind.As an important hub connecting Tibet,Yunnan,Sichuan and Qinghai,the current situation also provides opportunities and challenges for Qamdo.Therefore,this paper takes Changdu region of Tibet Autonomous Region as the study area,makes statistical analysis and research on the land cover change characteristics and the susceptibility to geological disasters in this region,discusses the spatial and temporal change characteristics of land cover in Changdu region,and divides the susceptibility to geological disasters in Changdu region,providing technical and theoretical support for the future construction of Changdu region of Tibet Autonomous Region.Firstly,the information of physical geography,land use,geological environment,vegetation coverage,geological disasters and population economy in Changdu area is collected and sorted out,and the data of topography,geology,hydrology and human activities in Changdu area are obtained,and a series of preprocessing are carried out on remote sensing images.Then,taking Changdu region as a whole,the spatial-temporal change characteristics of land cover were analyzed from Changdu section of sichuan-tibet railway and Changdu section of Sanjiang River Basin.Based on the remote sensing images of land use from 1990 to 2018,the spatial-temporal change characteristics of land use and the influencing factors of its driving forces were studied by using supervised classification and principal component analysis.The mean value method and correlation analysis method were used to analyze the spatio-temporal variation characteristics of vegetation cover in the study area from 1998 to 2018,and the relationship between vegetation cover change and climate was discussed.The results showed that there were obvious changes in land use types in Changdu area from 1990 to 2018,among which the areas of cultivated land,woodland,residents and construction land increased,while the areas of grassland,water and unused land decreased gradually.By studying the spatial distribution of vegetation coverage in Qamdo area,it is concluded that the overall vegetation coverage in Qamdo area is high,and the coverage type is mainly medium-high coverage,and air temperature is a significant climate influencing factor that causes the change of vegetation coverage in Qamdo area.Finally,the information statistics of 1200 geological disasters occurred in Qamdo area since 2019 were completed,and the spatial distribution characteristics of geological disaster points were analyzed according to the administrative district planning of Qamdo area.Based on the traffic,slope,geological structure and other influencing factors in Qamdo area,the geological disaster susceptibility zoning map of Qamdo area was drawn,which provided a reference for future construction and railway traffic route planning in Qamdo area.
