The appliance is a man-made product that embodying the concentrated expression of human wisdom and the culture.Also,it contains the limitations of a man-made object.As a designer,should be considering the comprehensive issues of designing,such as appliance safety,this consideration can help the user to have a great experience of using.However,the impact of the rapid development of technology is far-reaching and multifaceted,when the home appliance products are out of the designer's own application environment,it will be interpreted by the user,different body size,life customs,spiritual culture of the use of home appliances have their own logic,and this will not follow the designer's “education”.This conflict in logic is bound to be the seeds of conflicts and accidents in the long run.the construction of safety design principles can't be confined in the factor for the human engineering,it is a deliberation that including principle of the design concept and value theory.These would be completing the construction of safety design principles for the appliance.The paper according to the traditional ergonomics to discussing the three different factors,there are safe of substance,cultural and ecology,try to search the rationality and design concept of home appliances from a human factors' perspective,so as to meet the pursuit of life of different people.The balance between form and content of home appliances is not only a requirement for products under the broad view of safety,but also to satisfying the people who cares the lifestyles.
