Faraday instability phenomenon refers to an unstable phenomenon that standing waves appear on the free surface of an elastomer attached to a rigid vibration substrate and are subjected to the critical values of forced frequency and amplitude. This phenomenon will show regularity. Therefore,we are investigating the opposite aspect of Faraday instability. The Faraday instability of viscous liquid and soft elastic solid covered with a thin film is studied in this paper. It applies Floquet theory and the principle of parametric exponent. The Faraday instability of viscous liquid and soft elastic solid under the influence of thin film is discussed, and the Faraday instability in harmonic and subharmonic states is described. In this paper, the background and present situation of Faraday instability phenomenon are introduced, and its purpose and significance are clarified,so as to determine its research content, that is,the linear theoretical analysis of Faraday instability in viscous liquid and the linear theoretical analysis of Faraday instability in soft elastic solid. This paper starts from the theoretical modeling of viscous liquid and soft elastic solid, and analyzes the linear theoretical analysis of the Faraday instability in detail.Based on the above theory, the Faraday instability phenomenon of viscous liquid and soft elastic solid is explained. Then we derivate the formula and dimensionless the formula.Next,Matalab software is used to program and operate the deduced formulas. Finally,Origin is used to draw and find the rules according to the calculation results. In this paper, the effects of the angular velocity and the thickness of the film on the instability of the viscous liquid and the soft elastic solid Faraday coated with a thin film are analyzed. It is shown that the amplitude and wavelength are affected by these conditions, and the law of amplitude and wavelength changing with these conditions is studied. In the viscous liquid covering a thin film, the change law is: the overall wavelength increases with the increase of angular velocity; The amplitude increases as the angular velocity increases. The amplitude a increases as the stress increases. The overall wavelength decreases with the increase of stress. The wavelength increases as the thickness of the film increases. The amplitude increases as the thickness of the film increases. The variation law of soft elastic solid covered with a thin film is as follows:amplitude decreases with the increase of angular velocity; The amplitude decreases with the increase of g.The amplitude increases with the thickness of the film.Wavelength is independent of film thickness.Figure [19] reference [56]...
