This paper fine researched the complex fault blocks in the joint-part of the Wenliu and Pucheng oil field.This fault blocks is especially complex and it is controlled by three regional major disruption of Wenxi,Weidong and Punan.Moreover,the development of a series of secondary and associated faults in the blocks make it more complex.These made the geological understanding is not deep enough and the correspondence relationship between oil wells and water wells can't be recognised completely.On the basis of fine contrast of well datas in the region,we used comprehensive application of seismic comprehensive interpretation technique,HDT log interpretation technique,3D visualization and other research methods to interpret high-precision 3D seismic data and established complex fault blocks in the joint-part of the Wenliu and Pucheng oil field interpretation model.We analyzed the spatial distribution characteristics,tectonic transition relations and the types of tectonic style of Wei Xi,Wen Xi,Wei Dong,Wen90,Wen213,Wen127 and other fracture systems of grade II and III,carried out the fine characterization of small faults and reservoir distribution research in the complex small fault blocks and got new understanding.Based on the research results of structural interpretation model and fine description of low-order faults in these complex fault blocks,we got a better understanding of the structure of sub-member of Shahejie formation in the joint-part of the Wenliu and Pucheng oil field,and make fine structural studies of local fault blocks such as south Wen90 block,west of Pu85 block,south of Pu85 block and east of Pu153 block.The research results provide effective geological support for the further exploration and production of complex fault blocks in Wenliu and Pucheng.Based on the research results of the eastern block of Pu153,we make a further rolling evaluation and deploy a rolling exploration well,adding 232,500 tons of geological reserves and 243 million cubic meters of natural gas reserves.We achieved a breakthrough progress in exploration of Wenliu and Pucheng.The results showed that the fault blocks description is reasonable and can be used to guide the production practice.At the same time,it plays a guiding role to the distribution of faults in the same type of complex fault blocks.On the basis of this understanding,we explored the potential of residual oil in the joint-part of the Wenliu and Pucheng oil field.We optimized the exploitation method,development stratification,development well pattern and well spacing,and proposed the corresponding reservoir development scheme and applied it on the joint-part of the Wenliu and Pucheng oil field.Obvious development results have been achieved.
