As a place of interaction between the ocean and the atmosphere,the air-sea boundary layer has become a hotspot in the research of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science,especially the sea spray,which is seen as the pointing light in the research boom.Sea spray are small water droplets that generated when waves are broken,their existence and disappearance play an important role in momentum flux,heat flux and water vapor flux.Understanding and parameterization of sea spray have already penetrated into the field of air-sea interactions and global climate models that is essential for extreme weather forecasts and global temperature studies.According to a significant heat flux value difference between the air-sea interface and the air-sea boundary layer,we designed experimental observation at the Bohe fixed observation platform of the northern South China Sea from February 8 to May 21,2016.First,we used bulk-aerodynamic calculations to get the heat flux values at the air-sea interface;and eddy correlation method to get the heat flux values at the air-sea boundary layer.Then we made a value comparison between the air-sea interface and the air-sea boundary layer.And results showed that while the air-sea boundary layer is stable,there is a significant heat flux value difference between the air-sea interface and t the air-sea boundary layer,and sea spray was proved to be the factor for this difference.We also found that the heat flux values caused by sea spray are positively correlated with the medium and low wind speed.But in the reason of sea spray formation mechanism,changes between sensible heat flux and latent heat flux are different under the various wind speeds.Basing on the long-term observation data of the eddy covariance system at the Bohe fixed observation platform of the northern South China Sea and simulation in our sink laboratory,the turbulence flux variance similarity relation analysis wasfinished and the parameter formula between wind speed normalized standard deviation and stability was proposed under different atmospheric stability conditions.The air sea momentum flux and friction velocity that were both estimated by Flux-Variance method were compared with the Eddy-Covariance system observation results and the parameter formula was tested.Results showed that the consistency and correlation was high between the flux-variance estimation results and eddy-covariance measurement results;the unstable stratification conditions were better than the stable stratification conditions.The flux-variance similarity formula was verified that it can reproduce the measurement data ideally.It is feasible and reliable to estimate the momentum flux in the air sea interface by using the Flux Variance method,and it would provide a strong support for making up the lack of long-term data and testing the data quality...
