The main goal of the thesis is to reduce losses in the supersonic axisymmetric air intake device of the external compression type for various modes of operation of the intake.With high flight speeds(M> 1.5),one problem arises of coordination the air flow rates of the supersonic air intake device and compressor,now this problem isn't been solved,so it is necessary to solve the control problem by finding the optimum point in all modes.The paper describes the methodology for constructing the computational domain and setting the boundary conditions.Based on the results of numerical simulation,throttle and speed characteristics are constructed.A comparison is made with experimental data in order to verify the calculation model.The solution of the problem of identifying the optimum point by the minimum losses in the off-design operation mode of the air intake by changing the position of the central body without changing its geometry,which automatically leads to the solution of the control problem using the IOSO optimizer,has been carried out.It is concluded that the analysis of the obtained data confirms the feasibility and relevance of using modern methods of numerical experiment in the design process of aircraft power plant units.
