As a hot research issue in fluid mechanics,the problem of flow around a cylinder has always attracted the attention of many scholars.At present,many scholars have basically focused on the study of the hydrodynamic characteristics of the flow around a single cylinder and the flow around a double cylinder,and there are relatively few studies on the flow around a group of cylinders.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the characteristics of the flow around the cylinder.Therefore,starting from practical problems,this article mainly studies the wake characteristics of the flow around three cylinders and the flow around five cylinders and the force characteristics of each cylinder surface.First,this article introduces the analysis of the numerical simulation and physical experiment research of the flow around a single cylinder and multiple cylinders by domestic and foreign researchers,and then verifies the meshing of the paper by the numerical simulation analysis of the flow around a single cylinder.And the correctness of parameter settings.After that,the numerical simulation analysis of the flow around three cylinders in series and three cylinders in parallel under different spacing ratios(L/D=1.5,2.0,2.5,3.0)was analyzed,and the following hydrodynamic characteristics were analyzed: lift drag coefficient,Straw Haar number,velocity cloud image,and vorticity distribution of cylindrical wake.Through the results and data obtained from the above numerical simulation analysis,the effect of the spacing ratio and the arrangement of the cylinders on the flow around the three cylinders is studied;then the method of combining series cylinders and parallel cylinders is analyzed,and the "crossshaped" arrangement of five cylinders is studied.Flow numerical analysis,simulated the hydrodynamic characteristics of five cylinders under different spacing ratios(L/D=1.5,2.0,2.5,3.0),and analyzed lift drag coefficient,Strouhal number,velocity cloud diagram,and cylinder wake The vorticity distribution of the “Cross” arrangement of five cylinders caused by the change in the spacing ratio is explored.Finally,the “cross” arrangement of the five cylinders is rotated 45° clockwise to obtain the “X-shaped” arrangement of the five cylinders to simulate Under different spacing ratios(L/D=1.5,2.0,2.5,3.0),the hydrodynamic characteristics of five cylinders arranged in an “X-shape” are the same as before.Compare the flow around the cylinder due to the angle.The law of change.Through the numerical simulation of the flow around five cylinders under different spacing ratios and different arrangements,it is initially revealed that due to the changes in spacing and arrangement,the shape of the wakes of the five cylinders and the changes in the forces on the surface of each cylinder are revealed to the ocean.The design of engineering equipment has guiding significance.
