Due to the limitation of topography and geology condition,reservoir adopted under Fu Ning pumped-storage power station Shared bottom flow of the stilling basin,the conventional stilling basin,the tunnel and spillway or drainage water alone or enter the stilling basin at the same time,if the improper design and operation,there will be flow disorders,such as rotation,deviating from the unfavorable situation,At the same time,there are some problems in the downstream channel.Therefore,based on the physical model test,it is necessary to conduct in-depth research and optimization analysis on the hydraulic characteristics of the common bottom flow basin and the downstream channel of the pumped storage power station.The results of the optimization test of the shared bottom current basin and the downstream channel have important reference value for the further optimization research of similar projects.Through the experimental research,the main research results are as follows:(1)The experimental observation of the original design shape of Funing pumped storage power station shows that the overall layout of the spillway tunnel and spillway junction is reasonable,the discharge capacity meets the design requirements,and the downstream energy dissipation and scouring prevention of the original design scheme is basically satisfied,so additional protective measures are needed to conduct further optimization tests for energy dissipation and scouring prevention.When the joint discharge of the spillway and spillway,or the separate discharge,the disadvantageous conditions such as the flow pattern disorder,deviation and rotation occur in the common bottom flow basin.(2)In view of the problems existing in the original design,through hydraulic model test,different schemes such as the pier,the depth of the basin,the water separation wall and the inlet form of the basin were studied and compared and analyzed.Finally,the floor elevation of the basin was selected to be 154 m,and the inlet of the spillway and spillway was selected as the layout pattern of curved overhanging and baffling.The model test results show that the proposed shape can solve the plane rotation problem of the flow when the spillway tunnel and spillway are discharged single or combined,and the flow pattern is good,so that it can connect with the downstream river smoothly and reduce the scour to the downstream.(3)It is found that the depth of riprap bottom protection is not enough,and the depth of scour pit is larger;When the slope is simulated by moving bed,the phenomenon of scouring and widening appears,which poses a threat to the right bank road.When the left bank water depth moves,the head of the downstream protection section will be scoured by rapidity.When the water flows smoothly through the bridge,it scours the moving bed terrain under the pier on the left side,and deep scour pits appear at the top scour point and downstream section of the downstream bend of the bridge on the right bank,which poses a threat to the road.(4)since the original design scheme of channel energy dissipation problems of impingement,using physical movable bed model test,protection of downstream river channel is studied,the length of the protection,protection area,dynamic factors such as slope processing research and comparison analysis,get the results of hydraulic characteristics and scour downstream river channel scour the scope and depth are greatly reduced.
