Endemic Plant Diversity And Its Conservation And Utilization In Qilian National Park(Qinghai Area)

Qilian National Park(Qinghai Area)is bordered by Jiuquan,Zhangye and Wuwei in Gansu Province in the northeast,Wulan County in Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Qinghai Province in the west,Haiyan and Gangcha counties in Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the south,and Mutual Tu Autonomous Prefecture in Haidong Region in the east,with administrative areas including Qilian County,Menyuan County in Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and Delingha City and Tianjun County part of the area.The region has unique ecosystems,diverse natural landscapes,rich wildlife resources,and very important core areas in the Qilian Mountains,so it is particularly important to study the endemic plant diversity in the region.Based on the field survey,literature review and data analysis and collation,this paper establishes a list of Chinese endemic plants in Qilian Mountains National Park(Qinghai Area)and examines the diversity of Chinese endemic plants in this area,the diversity of geographical composition,the diversity of protected plants,the diversity of living types of protected plant families and species,the conservation status of protected plants and conservation countermeasures,as well as the division of resource plants and utilization countermeasures for sustainable development The main findings of the preliminary study are as follows:1.The Qilian Mountains National Park(Qinghai Area)has a total of 436 species of Chinese endemic plants belonging to 50 families and 160 genera,with a rich species composition,of which 23 species of plants belonging to 15 families and 20 genera are endemic to Qinghai Province.There are five species of endemic plants(endemic to the region)in Qilian Mountains National Park(Qinghai Area).The composition of families and genera is simple,with only two large families(Asteraceae,19 genera and 54species;Gramineae,22 genera and 56 species),nine medium families,26 small families,and a total of 14single-species families;the larger genera have six genera(Saussurea?Salix?Pedicularis?Astragalu?Carex?Gentiana).2.The endemic Chinese plants in the region are diverse in life type,divided into trees(evergreen,deciduous),shrubs(evergreen,deciduous),herbs(annual,biennial,perennial),etc.,of which perennial herbs account for the highest proportion,accounting for 66.7% of the total number of endemic plant species in the region,followed by shrubs accounting for 12.4% of the total number of species(mainly deciduous shrubs,accounting for 10.1%),and trees accounting for 8.5% of the total number of species(mainly deciduous trees,accounting for 7.1%).In general,Herb > Shrub > Tree.3.The geographic composition of the Chinese endemic flora in Qilian Mountains National Park(Qinghai Area)is diverse,with 15 distribution types for the genus of Chinese endemic plants and 13 distribution subtypes for the species.Analysis of the geographical composition of genera shows that the endemic flora of China has a significant temperate nature and is widely connected;analysis of the geographical composition of species shows that the endemic flora of China in this region is dominated by the Tibetan Plateau component,followed by the Southwest-North China component and the North China component.4.The geographical distribution pattern of Chinese endemic plants in Qilian Mountains National Park(Qinghai Area)shows obvious changes in the pattern of horizontal distribution: from east to west,there is an obvious decreasing pattern,i.e.363 species of 48 families and 149 genera in the eastern section,202 species of 94 genera in 35 families in the middle section,and 148 species of 80 genera in 35 families in the western section.5.There are 42 species of protected plants in the region,belonging to 19 families and 35 genera,including 13 species of national key protected wild plants,belonging to 4 families and 12 genera,and the only national grade ? key protected wild plants are(Cypripedium franchetii)of Orchidaceae The rest are all national grade II key protected wild plants.In addition,based on the analysis of the conservation status of the protected plants,reasonable conservation measures are proposed.6.Among the endemic plants in the Qilian Mountains National Park(Qinghai Area),there are 154 species of medicinal plants,20 species of oil plants,24 species of starch and sugar plants,13 species of plants for wind protection and sand fixation,37 species of fiber plants,28 species of aromatic plants,33 species of fodder and forage plants and 44 species of green ornamental plants.
