Modern Astronomy has established that the star formation occurs inside the Molecular Clump.Detecting the Molecular Clump and determining the parameters of the Molecular Clump as well as the statistical of the Molecular clumps open the new way for better understanding the evolution of stars and the initial mass function of stars,which is of great significance to the study of celestial body evolution.In recent years,many systematic sky survey projects have been carried out at home and abroad aiming at the structure of the Galaxy.With the accumulation of data from the survey project and the demand for Molecular Clump research,a stable and reliable automatic detection algorithm of Molecular Clump has become the focus.In recent years,clustering algorithms based on mathematical models have achieved notable success in speech recognition,target recognition in complex images and other fields.These methods have also begun to be applied to the field of astronomy,and the application topics have involved various research fields such as galaxy morphology classification and multi-band certification,supernova classification and spectral evolution,star and explained spectra,and molecular clouds,etc.Aiming at the data characteristics of the Molecular Clump,this paper takes the mathematical model describing the Molecular Clump as the theoretical basis and takes the detection and parameter estimation methods of the Molecular Clump as the research content.The following research is carried out:(1)A mathematical model based on local density clustering is proposed and applied to molecular clump data detection.The simulation data verify that the detection performance of this method is better than traditional molecular clump detection algorithms;(2)The Molecular Clump parameter estimation method based on the Gaussian mixture model is proposed.The simulation data verifies that the parameter estimation accuracy of this method is better than that of the traditional molecular clump parameter estimation method;(3)The detection and parameter estimation algorithm in this paper is applied to the molecular clump data in the M16,and the table information of the molecular clump in the M16 is obtained;and compared with the detection results of the traditional molecular clump algorithm,the detection results of the method in this paper are verified.
