In order to understand the status of fish resources in the surrounding areas of the Doupeng Mountain where was regarded as municipal nature reserve in Duyun City(hereinafter referred to as the "nature reserve"),to find out the current composition of fish fauna in the nature reserve, and to evaluate the protection situation correctly.According to the actual distribution of rivers in the demarcated areas, this survey was carried out in five areas including the rivers around the Doupeng Mountain Tourist Service Center, the line of Jianjiang River from Huguang Village to Chayuan Reservoir, the line of Shiban River, the line of Sifangtan Reservoir to Bangshui River in Luyin Lake and the line of Caidi River. In this study, through the field sampling was combined with the investigation method of interview by three times in March,April, and July 2018 respectively to conduct the survey:1.Twenty-eight species(subspecies)of fish were identified in the physical specimens of this survey, six species of fish were obtained during the interview.Based on the results of previous studies, this survey had been sorted out forty-seven fish species(subspecies)which belongs to four orders, twelve families and thirty-nine generas including forty-one indigenous fish species and six exotic fish species(subspecies)among them.2.Compared with the survey conducted by Ran Jingcheng in 2001,the results of this survey added three families, nine generas, and sixteen species of fish(subspecies).Except for no increase or decrease in the number of orders, the rest of the classification hierarchy had changed significantly. In the order of Cypriniformes, the original systematic classification of Cobitidae and Homalopteridae were changed and revised into four families of Cobitidae,Botiinae,Balitoridae and Gastromyzoninae; In the order of Siluriformes, there were one family of Clariidae, one genera of Clarias scopoli and one specie of Clarias fuscus(brought in by artificial breeding),one genera of Silurus linnaeus and one specie of Silurus asotus Linnaeus, one genera of Mystus scopoli and one specie of Mystus macropterus, one specie of Pseudobagrus albomarginatus were added. In the order of Perciformes, three species of Rhinogobius cliffordpopei,Siniperca kneri Gannan and Siniperca scherzeri Steindachner were added.3.Among the four orders in this thesis, the Cypriniformes has thirty-three species(subspecies)which is the largest number of species, accounting for 70.21% of the total number of fish species in the nature reserve.Among them,Cyprinidae fiora accounts for the majority at the family level with twenty-six species(subspecies),accounting for 55.32% of the total species and 78.79% of the total species of Cypriniformes.4.Among the five main rivers in the nature reserve, the Jianjiang River from Huguang to Chayuan Reservoir has the largest proportion of fishes, accounting for89.36% of the total fish in the nature reserve, and the Shiban River has the least species, accounting for only 12.77%.There were sixteen species of fishes of aquaculture value and sixteen species of fishes(subspecies)of ornamental value in the nature reserve. In the collected fish specimens,Sinocrossocheilus guizhouensis was a critically endangered species, and Linichthys laticeps Lin et Zhang was a vulnerable fish;In addition,in the China Biodiversity Red List-Vertebrate Volume released in2015,Siniperca undulatr and Coreoperca whiteheadi were clearly identified as near-endangered.5.By combining field surveys and literature review on hydrology and water quality, the factors affecting fish resources included water conservancy and hydroelectric engineering, river dam, prohibited fishing gear and fishing method, sewage disposal of daily activity and agricultural, etc.,These factors have great influence on the reproduction and survival of fish in nature reserves.6.Based on the survey results of the current status of fish resources and influencing factors, several suggestions were made on how to further protect fish resources in the surrounding areas of the nature reserve: the first was to further strengthen the management of fishery law enforcement;the second was to further build a perfect and effective river chief system;the third was to further reasonably standardize the work of breeding and releasing and fishing ban;the fourth was to further protect and restore the surrounding ecological environment;the fifth was to further develop the ecological recreational fishery.
