Xinjiang is located in the arid area of northwest China and is a reserve area of cultivated land resources in China. The ecosystem is extremely fragile. In recent years, with the deepening of scholar's discussion on ecological security, the construction of regional ecological security pattern in arid regions has become a research hotspot. Therefore, exploring the heterogeneity of the landscape in arid areas and establishing ecological safety network pattern according to local conditions are conducive to improving the level of regional ecological and economic coordination, promoting the sustainable development of ecologically fragile areas, which has certain practical significance for ecological environment management and territorial spatial planning.Based on this, landscape pattern index and GIS spatial analysis technology are used to analyze the temporal and spatial variation of landscape morphology and spatial distribution characteristics from 1980 to 2018.Landscape pattern index are used to establish landscape ecological security evaluation model;Based on the analysis of the landscape ecological security status and classification of ecological security level,geo-statistics methods and the principle of coupling coordination degree are introduced to analyze and evaluate the landscape ecological security spatiotemporal change trend and coupling coordination characteristics of landscape ecological security in the past 40 years;Based on Morphological Landscape(MSPA)and Minimum Cumulative Resistance(MCR)model, aiming at regional ecological environment problems,we extract ecological sources, select resistance factors, build comprehensive resistance surfaces for ecological security, identify ecological corridors and nodes, and construct ecological security patterns. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)During the study period,in addition to unused land, the landscape of farming, forest and grassland are highly fragmented, and the complexity of landscape shapes in each area shows an increasing trend. The connectivity and the diversification index is better.Although it decreases slightly, its overall distribution is relatively balanced.(2)Analysis of landscape transfer dynamics and spatial-temporal distribution:From 1980 to 2018,unused land, arable land, grassland and woodland are the four main landscape types of land use transfer changes.According to the dynamics of land use,the area conversion rate of construction land, arable land, grassland and forest land during 1980-2018 is relatively high.According to the standard deviation ellipse, the migration distance of cultivated land, woodland, water area and unused land from1980 to 2000 is obvious.(3)Landscape ecological security evaluation and coupling and coordination characteristics: The landscape ecological security level is lower in the east and west and higher in the middle, which is positively correlated in space, and partially in a state of "homogeneous aggregation and heterogeneous separation".The best fitting models are spherical models, with obvious characteristics of landscape spatial heterogeneity, low coupling and coordination, small numerical fluctuation, and little inter-annual change. The spatial distribution pattern changes greatly.(4)The ecological source area is highly fragmented, the comprehensive resistance value is unevenly distributed, the ecological corridor runs through the entire study area, and the distribution of ecological nodes is uneven.
