The northwestern margin of the Junggar Basin is a key area for oil and gas exploration.The Mahu Sag has high reservoir potential but low exploration degree.In recent years,with the continuous advancement of exploration and development,the research of the Baikouquan Formation in the Mahu Sag gradually becomes matured.The newly discovered reservoir of the Permian Upper Wuerhe Formation around the KE204 well block is still unclear about their reservoir characteristics,sand bodies and reservoir distribution.System reservoir characteristics and geological modeling studies need to be carried out for further exploration.It can support development and deployment in the next step.In this paper,the formation thickness and the response characteristics of the logging curve are combined to finely divide and compare the strata in the study area.It is divided into five small layers,P3w21,P3w22,P3w11,P3w12,P3w13.The thickness of each small layer is nearly equivalent,about 15m?40m and hiatus occurs only in restricted area.Based on the full absorption of previous research results,the sedimentary facies zone is divided based on the characteristics of logging curves,and it indicates that the whole is a degenerate fan delta sedimentary system.All delta facies are developed,mainly fan delta front facies.Combined with drilling cores,analytical tests,and logging data,through the study of reservoir lithology,physical properties,reservoir space types,and pore structure analysis,it is considered that the reservoir lithology mainly consists of medium-fine sandstone,conglomerate coarse sandstone,and glutenite.Among them,glutenite can be divided into traction flow glutenite and gravity flow glutenite according to the differences in sedimentary environment and hydrodynamic conditions.Through the study of the relationship among the reservoir lithology,electrical properties,physical properties,and oiliness,it is further found that the traction flow glutenite is the highest quality reservoir in the study area and has high oiliness.An interpretation model of reservoir porosity and oil content in the study area is established.The result of modeling interpretation,compared with well MH013 with NMR logging curves,show that modeling results have good coincidence.The Petrel software is selected in this paper,based on log interpretation data and seismic data to build an accurate three-dimensional structural model.The SIS stochastic simulation method is used to establish the lithofacies model in the study area then establish the reservoir physical property model constrained by lithofacies model.Spatially distribute sand bodies and attributes in the study area.The geological modeling can provide a predictive reference for subsequent oilfield development.It provides a predictive reference for locating well and tracking of horizontal well during the later development,which is of great significance for the later oilfield development in the KE204 well block.
