| During shield tunnel-boring machine(TBM)and NATM tunneling in urban areas,ground surface settlement control is a critical problem.The numerical simulation methods for shallow(EPB,slurry)shield tunneling(excavation,support,and lining)schemes,as well as numerical simulation methods for shallow NATM tunnel tunneling(full face,heading and bench,multiple drifts)schemes,were compared and discussed in this thesis.Based on the results of numerical calculations,the EPB method and multiple drifts in these two methods were proposed for the new tunnels in order to ensure the safe and regular operation of the existing tunnel.In order to minimize tunnel settlement,advanced deep hole grouting reinforcement technology and jack-up technology should be used in the process.By comparing the numerical calculation results,the EPB shield and multiple drifts methods proved their applicability in the project.The outcomes can be used as a reference for design and construction of similar projects. |
