For the preparation method of rutile single crystal,the traditional flame melting method has the problem that the H2 and O2 combustion produces water vapor to produce unnecessary chemical reaction to the raw material,and the crystal quality is unstable.At present,the research on rutile single crystal growth is mainly in the aspects of material purity and burner equipment improvement.There are few studies on the influence of temperature field on crystal growth,and temperature distribution is the key to crystal growth.With the development of computer technology,CFD technology is a combination of experimental fluid mechanics methods and pure theoretical flow analysis,and is a reliable way to solve complex flow problems.Radio frequency plasma has the advantages of high temperature,conductivity,and strong atmosphere controllability.The plasma generator is a device that uses current to ionize the working gas to generate plasma.This paper designs a new method suitable for the growth of rutile single crystals,namely: plasma reaction growth furnace.The design data is based on the60 KW plasma reactor that is consistent with the actual operating conditions.In the plasma generator design and application stage,numerical simulation is used as a key technology to verify the feasibility of the design and improve the consistency with the actual operating conditions.Optimize the design structure.Use UG software for physical modeling.Use Ansys Mesh for tetrahedral meshing,optimize the joints,and verify the mesh quality.Select the appropriate calculation domain,the turbulence model uses the standard ke model,and the radiation model uses the P1 model to calculate.The effects of gas flow,internal cooling flow,set power,and reactor structural parameter optimization on temperature distribution are studied,and the corresponding The optimal value range and regulation law of.Numerical calculation results show that the optimal working power of the plasma reactor is about 30 KW,and the reasonable gas flow rate range is0.25m/s-1.5m/s.When the temperature distribution in accordance with the growth of rutile single crystal is calculated,the gas velocity is 1.2m/ s,the internal cooling air speed is 5.8m/s,and can grow a single crystal with a maximum height of 20 mm and a diameter of 37 mm.The position of the observation hole on the side is about 0.28 m from the outlet.With the gradual increase of the parameters,the trend of the results obtained from the trend changes,there is a corresponding trend of the numerical simulation test results,and the direction of adjustment when there is an error in the corresponding experiment in practice.
