In recent years, the control system in the actual industrial production is becoming more and more complex and large-scale.A complete industrial system often consists of many subsystems. These subsystems interact with each other.Any subsystem or compo-nent failure may lead to problems in the whole system, and even cause serious economic losses and casualties,Therefore,it is particularly important to detect and deal with sys-tem faults in time, which has attracted a lot of attention. At the same time, the industrial production system is not only composed of simple linear systems, but also contains many complex nonlinear systems.Among them, chaotic system is widely used in reality, and Chua's circuit system is a typical chaotic system. It has important applications in elec-tronic communication, chaos control and other fields. It is necessary to study the fault detection of Chua's circuit system for industrial production practice. On the other hand, due to the introduction of the network, the communication resources in the actual network environment are limited.Network congestion and bandwidth constraints may limit the real-time transmission of feedback and control signals in the system, resulting in network delay, packet loss and out of order, which will have an adverse impact on the performance of the system. The introduction of event-triggered mechanism can effectively solve this problem, reduce the amount of data transmission in communication network and save limited network resources.Based on the above analysis, this paper first models Chua's circuit system, using fuzzy technology to deal with the nonlinear model, and obtains Chua's circuit T-S fuzzy model.Aiming at this model, the fault detection scheme based on event-triggered mech-anism is studied, the fault detection filter is designed, and the event trigger is introduced. The measured output data of Chua's circuit model is determined by event trigger at each sampling time. The output data meeting the condition is transmitted to the filter through the communication network, which effectively reduces the pressure of the communication network. The output of the fault detection filter is the residual to construct the residual evaluation function to realize fault detection.Based on Chua's circuit model, weighted fault model and the designed fault detection filter model,a fault detection model is ob-tained,which satisfies the H?performance index and enhances the sensitivity of fault detection model to faults.By using Lyapunov stability theory, the sufficient conditions for the fault detection model to be asymptotically stable and meet the expected detection target are obtained. The gain of fault detection filter can be obtained by linear matrix inequality.Secondly, the fault detection scheme of Chua's circuit system based on event-triggered mechanism and interval observer is designed, and the event trigger is also designed. The output data of discrete Chua's circuit system is transmitted to the interval observer through the event trigger, and the output data satisfying the event-triggered condition is transmit-ted to the interval observer through the communication network, and the residual interval is obtained by subtracting with the output of the interval observer. The goal of fault de-tection is achieved by monitoring whether the zero value belongs to the residual interval. The robustness and fault sensitivity of residual interval to disturbance are improved by in-troducing l1performance and H?performance. The unknown matrix and system matrix are decoupled by using extended linear matrix inequality. With the help of slack matrix variable, the nonnegative condition of estimation error variable is given. The parameter matrix of interval observer is obtained by linear matrix inequality. The designed event-triggered interval observer not only achieves the goal of fault detection, but also saves limited network resources. Finally, the relevant simulation experiments are designed.
