| Objectives To study the role of cerebellum in the production of visual P300 cognitive potential by moving dipole source analysis.Methods From June 2016 to December 2020,110 volunteers with normal physical examination,MMSE,SAS,SDS evaluation and brain MRI examination were selected.The64 lead Neuroscan EEG acquisition system was used to detect visual P300 potential and trace its early potential P1,N1,middle potential P2,N2 and late potential P3.Results P1 and N1 have moving dipoles P1_a,P1_b and N1_a,N1_b,N1_crespectively.P1_a is a process in which information reaches the cerebellum culmen,cerebellum tongue lingual and cerebellum tonsil through multiple nerve feedback loops of right posterior cingulate gyrus formed by left posterior cingulate gyrus,left and right precuneus gyrus and right cuneus gyrus.P1b is a process from left lingual gyrus to left cuneus gyrus and right cuneus gyrus,left posterior cingulate gyrus and right posterior cingulate gyrus,then to left cerebellar peak,left parahippocampal gyrus and left middle temporal gyrus.N1_a is the conduction process of the nerve feedback loop in the right inferior semi-Lunar lobule,which is formed by multiple central regions of both sides of the brain and cerebellum.N1b is a complex neural feedback pathway through the left cuneus gyrus to the bilateral cerebellum and cerebral hemisphere center,and then to the top of the right cerebellum culmen.N1c is a process from the left parahippocampal gyrus to the left precuneus nerve feedback loop formed by the bilateral brain and cerebellum.P2 and N2 have moving dipoles P2_a,P2_b and N2_a,N2_b,N2_c respectively.P2_a is the process from the left cerebellum culmen and the left parahippocampal gyrus to the left middle temporal gyrus and the left middle occipital gyrus,and then to the left inferior frontal gyrus and the left superior temporal gyrus;P2_b is involved in the formation of the right middle temporal gyrus nerve loop from both cerebral hemispheres and right cerebellar tuber.N2_a is processed in the left uncus gyrus and thalamic gyrus without cerebellum involvement;N2_b is processed through the left uncus gyrus pathway,right cuneus gyrus,right precuneus gyrus,right medial frontal gyrus and left precuneus gyrus,which are mainly composed of bilateral brain;N2_cis processed in the left cerebellar tonsil,cerebellar tuber,left inferior temporal gyrus and right medial frontal gyrus.P3_a is a process from the left middle frontal gyrus and left inferior frontal gyrus to the left inferior temporal gyrus,then to the right parahippocampal gyrus,cerebellar tonsil and left uncus gyrus P3_b is the left inferior frontal gyrus nerve loop formed by the left medial frontal gyrus and the left middle temporal gyrus from the left middle frontal gyrus and the left anterior central gyrus,and then through the left superior temporal gyrus and the left lateral part of the globus pallidus to the left cerebellar tonsil,the left cerebellar culmen,the left insular lobe,the right suboccipital gyrus,the left parahippocampal gyrus,the left precuneus,the right lingual gyrus,the right fusiform gyrus and the right lingual gyrus,the right inferior occipital gyrus formed the right cerebellar tonsillar nerve loop,and then passed through the right Inferior Semi-Lunar Lobule nerve loop formed with the left cerebellar pyramis,to the right Inferior Semi-Lunar Lobule nerve loop formed with the right cerebellar tonsil,and then passed through the right inferior occipital gyrus to reach the right superior parietal lobule,right lingual gyrus,right inferior occipital gyrus and right lingual gyrus Through the left precuneus,the left fusiform gyrus nerve loop reaches the left inferior temporal gyrus nerve feedback loop formed by the left parahippocampal gyrus,right cerebellar tonsil,left cerebellar culmen,left cerebellar tonsil and right cerebellar tonsil,and finally ends in the left superior temporal gyrus.Conclusions The early P1 and N1 components of visual P300 reflect the important processing and regulation of visual cognitive information by complex neural feedback network pathways distributed in both cerebral hemispheres and cerebellum.The P2 and N2potential waves of visual P300 cognitive potential are the comprehensive EEG manifestations of visual cognitive signal processing and conduction in the complex neural network feedback loop of brain related centers formed by bilateral cerebral hemispheres,and the bilateral cerebellum are also involved in the formation of these feedback pathways to various degrees.In the late stage of visual P300 cognitive potential,P3 is a comprehensive electrophysiological manifestation of the transmission and processing regulation of visual cognitive signals in the complex neural network feedback loop formed by both cerebral hemispheres and cerebellum.Bilateral cerebellar tonsils and inferior semi-Lunar lobule play an important role in the late period potential
