Strength subtraction is widely used in slope stability analysis and the numerical method,the traditional whole fold the subtraction of cohesion and Angle of internal friction reduction with the same reduction factor,and in the actual slope,two strength parameters play a role as well as the attenuation degree is different,the traditional whole fold subtraction cannot really reflect the slope progressive failure process.In view of the shortcomings of the overall reduction method,a new local step double reduction method is proposed based on the strain-softening characteristics of soil elements by introducing the idea of step reduction.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The significance of studying slope stability is briefly described,and the basic principles and research status of strength reduction method and soil softening characteristics are introduced.By referring to the literature,a new double reduction method is proposed in view of the shortcomings of the whole reduction.Through learning ABAQUS simulation software,combined with the calculation example,the correctness of the method is verified.(2)Soil softening is the main cause of slope instability,local ladder with strain softening model,double fold the subtraction of peak and residual strength of soil by establishing the relationship between cohesion and internal friction Angle,will receive a function equation as the basis of combination of reduction,it not only can judge role has two parameters,can also determine the extent of the two parameters play a role,solve the problem of the Chinese current double reduction.The method takes FAI as the criterion to judge whether the soil is damaged or not,and has a higher level of concept compared with YAI.In this process,combined with the idea of local step reduction,the damaged area(FAI>0.8)was reduced by different reduction combinations,and the progressive failure process of homogeneous soil slope was studied.(3)Rock and soil are a kind of material that can rub against each other inhomogeneously,and inhomogeneity is its inherent property.Based on the local ladder double reduction method verified in this thesis,considering the strength and different distribution of soil inhomogeneity,the failure form,displacement,and stress and strain changes of non-uniform soil are deeply studied.
