Development Of A Modular High-voltage Solid Conductivity Tester For Polar Ice Core Slices

In order to solve the problem of quickly analyzing ice core samples at drilling sites,this paper design a modular ice core scanning machine.Integrating the current mature ice core analysis methods,after comprehensive evaluation of the destructiveness of the samples,the richness of reading information,and the feasibility of modularization,an analyzer based on the direct current conductivity of the ice core is completed.The research and development of the analyzed ice core scanning equipment,namely the modular high-voltage conductivity analyzer for polar ice core,has realized high-precision ice core conductivity data collection.Based on the research and development of the modular polar ice core slice high-voltage conductivity analyzer,combined with the past experience of the ice core DC conductivity scanning machine,this paper designs a high-voltage generator include a rectifier bridge,BUCK circuit,inverter,booster and voltage amplifier rectifier circuit,which convert 220 V,50Hz mains power into a 0-5000 V adjustable output voltage.And a discharge circuit and an anti-surge circuit are designed to solve the problem of slow discharge and surge when the scheme is applied to the measurement of ice core conductivity.Meanwhile,a control system and operation software supporting the high-voltage generator were designed.Through the control system,the devices in the switching circuit of the high voltage generator are driven,the output of the high voltage circuit is detected in real time,and the output voltage stability of the high voltage generator and the response time of the high voltage generator are realized through the algorithm in the software.The main functions of the whole system include adjustable voltage output,voltage and current detection,temperature detection,heating and drying in the box,historical data review,local backup and cloud backup.The system has completed various functional verifications in the laboratory,and conducted low-temperature tests on key components,and finally completed the joint test of the system at the China Polar Center.
