| In order to actively respond to climate change and accelerate the transition to low-carbon energy,the Chinese government has proposed to strive for the peak of carbon dioxide emissions by 2030,striving to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.By2030,China’s non-fossil energy will account for around 25% of primary energy consumption,and the total installed capacity of wind and solar power will reach over1.2 billion k W.The utilization of China’s renewable energy will enter a new historical development stage.Despite the development of hydropower,wind power,and photovoltaic power generation in China is quite mature and the system is complete,it have been already at the world’s leading level.However,there is still a certain gap between the development and utilization of tidal current energy compared with European powers.In this paper,aiming at the special situation that most of our country’s sea areas are of low velocity,a low-speed generator suitable for our country’s sea areas is developed.In this contribution,there are two innovations in this paper.Firstly,the tidal current generator designed in this paper is a low-speed permanent magnet synchronous generator with a design rated flow rate of 1.8m/s,rated speed of 30r/min,rated power of 1KW,and power generation efficiency not less than 85%,and the layout is horizontal.The shaft and the impeller are connected to the direct drive type.The gearbox is omitted,which effectively reduces the mechanical loss and improves the operating efficiency of the generator set.The use of underwater sealing technology and non-metal bearing water lubrication technology in the structural seal realizes the long-term stable operation of the generator under water and improves the reliability of the tidal current generator set.Compared with the traditional permanent magnet synchronous generator,the generator designed in this paper innovatively achieves the rated power of the generator at ultra-low speed,meets the power generation requirements,and has a higher level in the same type of low-speed tidal current generators.The power generation efficiency of power generation has been verified by simulation to reach 93%,which has played a role in the research of tidal current power generation in my country.In the meantime,this paper designs a 1KW low-speed permanent magnet generator,and calculates the generator parameters determining the basic parameters such as stator inner and outer diameter,rotor inner and outer diameter,air gap thickness,etc.This paper combines the parameters to calculate and analyze the performance of the generator,including iron loss,Copper loss calculation and power generation efficiency calculation,etc.This paper also designes the shaft system of the permanent magnet generator,and establishes the 3D model of the shaft system with the3 D software Solidworks.Finally,the software ANSYS Maxwell 16 is used to perform two-dimensional finite element analysis.The results showes that the prototype current,voltage,and power all met the design requirements.The transient no-load,load analysis and static analysis were completed,and all parameters of the generator are verified to be within a reasonable rangewhich is accord with the stable operation of the generator. |
