With the rapid development of spintronics,the information storage and the logic devices based on the magnetic domain wall have been proposed,which is expected to realize ultrahigh density information storage and ultrafast logic operation by controlling movement or injection of the magnetic domain wall in ferromagnetic nanowires.Cylindrical permalloy(Ni80Fe20)nanowires shows excellent soft magnetic properties,high magnetic field permeability,approximately zero magnetostriction,and ultrafast motion media of the magnetic domain wall.Therefore,the cylindrical permalloy nanowires has been considered as a promising candidate for various high efficiency and low power consumption spintronic devices.Since the morphology and components of the nanowires have great influences on the magnetic domain wall,precise control of the composition uniformity and morphology of permalloy structures has become particularly important.Currently,the template-assisted electrodeposition is one of the main preparation methods of cylindrical permalloy nanowires.However,the method is still unable to prepare the homogeneous and compact permalloy nanowires so far.Therefore,understanding technical problems of the template-assisted electrodeposition and exploring the its solution,which is very important for high-quality permalloy preparations and its applications in future.In this work,we have studied the preparation method of cylindrical permalloy nanowires,and successfully prepared the high-quality permalloy nanowires by using pulse electrodeposition assisted by porous anodic aluminum oxide template.To explore the preparation mechanism of permalloy nanowires,the effects of electrodeposition parameters(including pulse current density,concentration and p H value of electrolyte,and reaction temperature)on the chemical composition,crystalline phase,and magnetic properties of the nanowires were systematically investigated,and the its mechanism was analyzed and discussed.Finally,we summarized the best pulse electrodeposition conditions of permalloy nanowires in pure sulfate solution.Moreover,the effect of different electrodeposition parameters on the magnetic properties of Ni-Fe alloy nanowire arrays has been studied,and the related mechanisms have been analyzed and discussed.Finally,the ferromagnetic resonance properties of permalloy nanowire arrays are studied.Our work paved the road for the preparation and application of high-quality permalloy nanowires.
