Haitong cement plant is located in Haitonggou,Zongxi Township,Mangkang County,Changdu City,Tibetan Plateau.Through investigation,it is found that there are many wide cracks on the upper slope of DE section in zone II on the right bank of the cement plant,the rock mass of slope surface is deformed,and local instability and collapse occur.The deformation and instability of the slope will have a great potential security risks to the production and operation of Haitonggou cement plant.Therefore,it is more important to study the failure mode and deformation of the right bank slope of Haitonggou cement plant in Mangkang county.This paper takes the right bank slope of Haitonggou cement plant of Mangkang County as the research object,and analyzes the stability,deformation characteristics and instability mechanism of the slope by limit equilibrium method and finite element method,combining with the natural geographical conditions and engineering geological conditions of the research area;The deformation trend of slope is analyzed by monitoring data and numerical simulation;Finally,the slope treatment is determined and the treatment effect is evaluated.The main contents of the study are as follows:(1)Based on the field investigation and analysis of regional data,the physical geography and engineering geological conditions of haitonggou area in Mangkang county are studied,and the creep deformation characteristics of the slope in the study area are analyzed.(2)Based on the limit equilibrium theory,the stability of slope under natural,rainstorm and earthquake conditions is analyzed.(3)The stability and displacement field characteristics of the slope before and after excavation under natural,rainstorm and earthquake conditions are analyzed by numerical simulation method,and the potential deformation failure mode and instability mechanism of the slope are studied.(4)Based on the numerical simulation and field monitoring data of slope deformation,the slope displacement-time-step curve and displacement-time curve are drawn,and the deformation trend of the slope is predicted.(5)Based on the study of slope instability mode and deformation trend,the slope treatment is determined,the stability coefficient of slope after engineering treatment is analyzed by numerical calculation method,and the engineering treatment effect of slope is evaluated.The results indicate that the creep of the slope is effectively controlled by emergency and permanent treatment.
