Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus)is a gram-positive bacteria,which exists widely in nature and is an important zoonotic pathogen.Once Staphylococcus aureus infects the body,it can cause a variety of local suppurative infections in tissues,pneumonia,pseudomembranous enteritis,pericarditis,and even systemic infections such as sepsis and sepsis.In recent years,some studies have gradually found that Staphylococcus aureus infection is related to human and animal respiratory diseases,but the current research on Staphylococcus aureus and respiratory diseases is still very limited.In recent years,rabbit industry has continuously developed into an important branch of animal husbandry in Shandong Province.Rabbit respiratory disease is one of the main diseases affecting rabbit health and endangering rabbit breeding.However,the research on the relationship between Aureus and rabbit respiratory diseases is still very limited.In the actual production,due to the unreasonable use of antibiotics,Staphylococcus aureus has strong antimicrobial resistance,even multiple drug-resistant strains.There were significant differences in sensitivity and drug resistance of rabbit-derived Staphylococcus aureus to different antibiotics in different regions.Through the data of drug resistance phenotypes and drug resistance genotypes in different regions,we can not only understand the situation of drug resistance in different regions and grasp the information of drug resistance,but also for the selection of clinical drug use and real-time monitoring of drug resistance in rabbits.it is of great practical significance to reduce economic losses and multiple drug resistance.Therefore,in order to analyze the distribution and drug resistance of rabbit-derived Staphylococcus aureus in some areas of Shandong Province,from 2020 to 2021,a total of 152 rabbit nasal swabs with respiratory diseases were collected from 7 large-scale rabbit farms in Linyi,Liaocheng,Weifang,Laiwu and Taian,Shandong Province.The results are as follows:isolation and identification: 52 strains of Staphylococcus aureus were isolated from the collected samples by means of bacterial isolation and culture,Gram staining microscopic examination,16 sr DNA amplification PCR detection and microbial mass spectrometry identification,with a total isolation rate of 34.2%.virulence gene detection: seven common virulence genes(sea,seb,hlb,eta,pvl,tsst,clfa)were detected by PCR,and five virulence genes were detected,but eta gene and tsst gene were not detected.The detection rates of five virulence genes from high to low are clfa(84.6%),pvl(36.5%),sea(36.5)%,seb(1.9%)and hlb(1.9%),respectively.This shows that most of the rabbit Staphylococcus aureus isolates in Shandong area carry a variety of virulence genes,which makes them have strong pathogenicity.Drug resistance analysis: the sensitivity of Staphylococcus aureus isolated and cultured to 9common antibiotics was detected by Kmurb disk method.The results showed that 52 strains of Staphylococcus aureus showed different drug resistance to 9 common antibiotics,the highest resistance to lincomycin and sensitive to tetracycline,cefradine and gentamicin.Detection of drug resistance genes: PCR detection of drug resistance genes of Staphylococcus aureus isolated from Staphylococcus aureus showed that the detection rates of macrolide resistance genes erm B and msr A in rabbit respiratory tract Staphylococcus aureus were very high,and tetracycline resistance genes tetm and quinolone resistance genes glra also had certain detection rates.To sum up,Staphylococcus aureus is widely distributed in large-scale rabbit farms in Shandong Province,and has a strong pathogenicity,which is one of the main factors causing bacterial respiratory diseases in rabbits.It is sensitive to cephalosporins,tetracyclines,aminoglycosides and fluoroquinolones,sensitive to macrolides,and resistant to lincomams and ?-lactams.Staphylococcus aureus from rabbits also showed multiple drug resistance,with a maximum of 7 kinds of drug resistance.This study provides corresponding reference data for the clinical treatment of bacterial respiratory diseases in rabbits.
