The macrobenthic community structure in Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone were carried out, which could effectively understand the species composition of the macrobenthic community and the evolution of the community structure during the seasons. It will provide a new reference and scientific basis for the ecological study of Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone in the future. From May to December in 2020(four seasons),sampling and ecological investigation of macrobenthos were carried out in Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone, and the species were identified in the laboratory.Six survey sections were set up along the intertidal coast of Jiuzhen Bay,which were GZJZC1,GZJZC2,GZJZC3,GZJZC4,GZJZC5 and GZJZC6(the survey sections were abbreviated as C1?C6).Based on the data of macrobenthos in Jiuzhen Bay,studied the community structure of macrobenthos in Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone, and analyzed the resource dynamics of one of the dominant species,Ruditapes philippinarum. We used species diversity index,ABC curve method and MPI index to evaluate the environment in Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone. The results and conclusions are as follows:1.A total of 7 phyla,9 classes,125 genera and 148 species of macrobenthos collected quantitatively, including 55 species of Molluscs,37 species of Arthropods,45species of Annelids,6 species of Chordates,1 species of Cnidaria,2 species of Nemertea and 2 species of Platyhelms.A total of 7 phyla,10 classes,164 genera and 207 species of macrobenthos collected quantitatively and qualitatively, including 84 species of Molluscs,60 species of Arthropods,45 species of Annelids,10 species of Chordates,3 species of Cnidaria,3 species of Nemertea and 2 species of Platyhelms. The dominant species in each section were Alucinoma soyoae,Cycladicama ethima,Cyclina sinensis,Glauconome chinensis,Laternula boschasina,Musculus senhousei,Ruditapes philippinarum,Batillaria cumingi,Batillaria zonalis,Cerithidea cingulata,Macrophthalmus japonicus,Euclymene oerstedi,Haploscoloplos elongatus,Neanthes glandicincta and Notomastus latericeus. The dominant species in each season were Alucinoma soyoae,Cycladicama ethima,Glauconome chinensis,Laternula boschasina,Musculus senhousei,Ruditapes philippinarum,Batillaria cumingi,Batillaria zonalis,Cerithidea cingulata,Uca arcuata,Euclymene oerstedi,Haploscoloplos elongatus,Lumbrineris longifolia,Neanthes glandicincta and Notomastus latericeus. The results showed that the dominant species was Neanthes glandicincta, which indicated that there was some pollution disturbance in the intertidal environment of Jiuzhen Bay.2.According to One-way ANOVA analysis, the number of macrobenthos species(quantitative and qualitative)only had significant differences among seasons(p<0.05);the density of macrobenthos was significantly different(p<0.05),and the biomass was significantly different(p<0.01);but there was no significant difference between seasons(p>0.05).The average density and biomass of macrobenthos were 714.9ind./m~2and194.00g/m~2in Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone. The 24 sections(four seasons)could be divided into three communities when the similarity was 55%.The community parameters of macrobenthos had no significant correlation with temperature, salinity and p H.3.Based on the diversity index H',ABC curve method and MPI index, the environmental health of the intertidal sediments in Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone was evaluated as follows:in spring, most of the sections were slightly to moderately polluted,C2 and C6 sections were better,C1,C3,C4 and C5 sections were worse. In summer, most of the sections had no or slight pollution disturbance,C2,C3 and C5 sections were better,C1,C4 and C6 were worse. In autumn, each section was disturbed by light pollution,C2section had better sediment environment,C5 section took the second place, and other sections were worse. In winter, most of the sections were slightly to moderately polluted. The sediment environment of C5 section was better, followed by C3 and C6 sections, and the other sections were worse. The results showed that the health status of intertidal sediment environment in different seasons was as follows:Summer>autumn>winter>spring, which showed that the intertidal sediment environment in Jiuzhen Bay was better in summer, followed by autumn, and worse in spring and winter.4.The horizontal distribution of average density and biomass of Ruditapes philippinarum was similar:the four sections in the middle of the Bay were higher and the two sides were lower;and vertical distribution was consistent:middle tide area>low tide area>high tide area;the seasonal distribution was different, the density was spring>summer>autumn>winter, and the biomass was autumn>spring>summer>winter. The average density and biomass of Ruditapes philippinarum were 132.1ind./m~2and47.42g/m~2.According to One-way ANOVA analysis, the density of Ruditapes philippinarum was significantly different between seasons(p<0.05),but there was no significant difference between sections(p>0.05);there was no significant difference in the biomass of Ruditapes philippinarum between seasons or sections(p>0.05).The density and biomass of Ruditapes philippinarum had no regular correlation with macrobenthos community parameters in Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone.5.The Baishi intertidal zone in Jiuzhen Bay(2001,2010 and 2020):the species were dominated by Molluscs and Annelids, followed by Arthropods;the dominant species were slightly different in the three years, and the difference in habitat density was obvious, the highest in 2020,and the biomass increased with the year. The community structure differed greatly between 2001 and 2020.In 2001,the species tide boundary was obvious, and there were fewer species in the intertidal zone.In 2020,the species tide boundary was reduced and there were more species in the intertidal zone.According to the comprehensive analysis of the biological index, the environmental health of the Baishi intertidal zone was as follows:2001>2010>2020,the environment showed a trend of deterioration year by year.Compared with other main bays in Fujian Province(including Jiuzhen Bay in 2006),the spring investigation results of Jiuzhen Bay intertidal zone showed that the species richness was general, and the species habitat density and biomass were at a high level in each bay.Compared with the survey results of Jiuzhen Bay in 2006,the species number, average density and average biomass of macrobenthos increased significantly. As human activities directly destroyed the intertidal habitat and increased the density and biomass of benthos, the environment became worse year by year.
