Study On Pathogenicity And Drug Resistance Of Salmonella From Fox And Raccoon Dog In Qinhuangdao Area | | Posted on:2022-12-04 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:A Q Zhao | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2480306752995039 | Subject:Master of Veterinary Medicine | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Qinhuangdao area of Hebei Province is an area with a large number of fur animals such as fox and raccoon dog,which occupies an important position in China’s fur animal breeding industry.Salmonella disease of fox and raccoon dog is a common bacterial infectious disease in the process of fox and raccoon dog breeding.It can lead to diarrhea,septicemia death of young animals,abortion of pregnant female animals,etc.,and cause serious economic losses to the breeding industry of fox and raccoon dogs.However,there are few studies on the pathogenicity and drug resistance of Salmonella from foxes and raccoons in Qinhuangdao,which is not conducive to the prevention and control of Salmonella from foxes and raccoons in aquaculture.Therefore,the pathogenicity and drug resistance of 23 strains of Salmonella from fox and 13 strains of Salmonella from raccoon dogs isolated from Qinhuangdao were studied.The experimental strains were studied by mouse pathogenicity test,virulence gene PCR detection,and serotype identification test.It was found that 23 strains of Salmonella from fox and 12 strains of Salmonella from raccoon dogs could cause mouse death through artificial infection test;The dominant serotypes of Salmonella from fox and raccoon dog are Salmonella paratyphoid A;91.30%(21 / 23)of Salmonella from fox and 100%(13 / 13)of Salmonella from raccoon dog detected virulence genes,among which the detection rate of stn gene of Salmonella from fox was the highest(65.22%,15 / 23),and the detection rate of spv R of Salmonella from raccoon dog was the highest(69.23%,9 / 13).The combination forms of virulence genes of Salmonella from fox and raccoon dog were very abundant.KB disk method was used for drug sensitivity tests and PCR detection of drug resistance genes.It was found that the test strains had multiple drug resistance.The drug resistance rates of 15 kinds of antibiotics were 13.04% ~ 100% and 15.38% ~100% respectively.The drug resistance rates of oxytetracycline,tilmicosin,and other drugs were as high as 100%;The number of drug resistance spectrum combinations of test strains was large,and the consistency of drug resistance spectrum of different strains was low;All the tested strains carried multiple drug resistance genes.The results showed that Salmonella isolates from fox and raccoon dogs in Qinhuangdao had serious drug resistance,and the drug resistance was complex.This study detected the pathogenicity and drug resistance of Salmonella from Fox and raccoon dog,provided the reference for the scientific drug use of Salmonella from fox and raccoon dog in Qinhuangdao,and provided data support for the research on the pathogenesis and drug resistance mechanism of Salmonella from fox and raccoon dog. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Qinghuangdao, fox, raccoon dog, Salmonella, pathogenicity, drug resistance, virulence gene, drug resistance gene | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
