With the rapid growth of my country’s economy,and the number of car ownership continues to increase rapidly,which brings huge challenges to traffic safety.In the total traffic accidents over the years,the traffic accidents caused by driving fatigue account for a large proportion.Therefore,research on the detection and alleviation of driving fatigue is of great significance to reduce traffic accidents and improve driving safety.In our study,we conduct research on the detection and alleviation of driving fatigue state based on brain cognition.The specific research content mainly includes the following three parts:(1)Research on the detection method of driving fatigue state.In our study,the adaptive complexity and basic scale entropy of the α rhythms and β rhythms of the driver’s Electroencephalogram(EEG)are used as driving fatigue detection features,and the multivariable autoregressive(MVAR)model and the phase slope index(PSI)algorithms conducts brain network effect connections analysis on short-term EEG signals of subjects in different driving stages,calculates two characteristic parameters of brain network clustering coefficient and global efficiency,and the change rule of driver’s fatigue state in the continuous driving stage is comprehensively analyzed.In addition,according to the changing law of driving fatigue characteristics,combined with the revised fatigue scale SOFI-C(Swedish occupational fatigue inventory-25)by Zhang daifa et al.,the driving fatigue state is divided into three levels(awake state,mild fatigue state and severe fatigue state)to determine the driving fatigue state in real time according to the fatigue level.(2)Research on the method and system for alleviating driving fatigue.In this study,when it was detected that the driver was in a state of fatigue(mild fatigue state and severe fatigue state),multi-acupoint electrical stimulation(stimulate the Láogōng acupoint(PC8)on the hands,the Jǐngbǎiláo acupoint(EX-HN15)on the neck,and the Yāoyǎn acupoint(EX-B7)on the waist)combined with music conditioning method(MESCMC)to alleviation driving fatigue.The driving fatigue alleviation system built in this subject includes four parts: EEG acquisition equipment(Emotiv),upper computer,lower computer and fatigue alleviation terminal.The system works as follows: First,the EEG acquisition device collects the driver’s EEG signal in real time,and transmit the collected EEG signals to the host computer through wireless transmission.The host computer receives and analyzes the collected EEG signal in real time,and judges whether the driver is in a state of fatigue.When the driver is in a state of fatigue,according to the driving fatigue level,the main control unit of the lower computer controls the opening or closing of the alleviation device,so as to relieve driving fatigue in a timely and efficient manner and improve driving safety.(3)Design of simulated driving experiment scheme and analysis and verification of experimental results.In order to verify the effectiveness of the multi-acupoint electrical stimulation combined with the music conditioning method and the driving fatigue alleviation system used in this project,three types of driving experimental modes were designed,multi-acupoint electrical stimulation combined with music conditioning driving mode,single-acupoint electrical stimulation(SES)driving mode and normal driving mode.All subjects were tested in three driving modes.The experimental results show that multi-acupoint electrical stimulation combined with music conditioning method and driving fatigue alleviation system can effectively relieve driving fatigue.Compared with single-acupoint electrical stimulation alleviation method,multi-acupoint electrical stimulation combined with music conditioning method is more efficient in relieving fatigue.The fatigue alleviation method and system have certain practical value.
