In this work,Ni2P/MgAlO and Ni3S2/MgAlO catalysts were prepared via the triphenylphosphine(PPh3)liquid phase phosphidation and the carbon disulfide(CS2)liquid phase sulfurization technologies, respectively. The catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),N2 adsorption-desorption measurements(BET&BJH methods)and X-ray fluorescence(XRF),and used for the hydrotreating reaction of model diesel at different reaction temperatures. The catalytic activities for hydrodesulfurization(HDS)of dibenzothiophene(DBT)and hydrodenitrogenation(HDN)of quinoline,as well as the phase and structural changes of the catalysts during the hydrotreating reaction were studied. This work also studied the gas phase hydrogenation of o-chloronitobenzene to o-chloroaniline over Ni/MgAlO and Ni2P/MgAlO catalysts. The influence of different reaction conditions on the conversion of o-chloronitrobenzene and the selectivity to o-chloroaniline were discussed. In addition, the liquid phase phosphidation by PPh3 using different solvents was carried out for optimizing the phosphidation technology and improving the activity of supported Ni2P catalysts.
